INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Usually, we need to make mistakes in order to learn a lesson, and this applies not just in a business environment but also in our personal life. When leaders make bad decisiones, they need to go back and re-evaluate the options to try again. Even though they may feel defeated, there is not reason to quit. I found very insteresting this article because it advises that leaders should not just move on after a wrong choice but also they need to feel the consequences of it. It totally makes sense that if we feel the effects of a bad decision, it means that we care about what we are doing, and therefore, we will work ever harder to succeed next time.

MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Many of our learning opportunities will come from mistakes we make. In our careers and leaders, we will make many decisions and they will not all be correct. If you make a bad decision and you hide from the situation, it is unlikely that you will learn all you could from the situation. It is important to embrace the learnings from mistakes and learn how to avoid similar mistakes in the future. Making a mistake is not something that you need to let defeat you, but you do not want to continue making the same mistake and not learning from the situation.

As a leader you will make decisions every day that can greatly affect your company. It important that you always try to make the right decisions but the reality is, that you will not always do that. It is okay if you don't as long as you know how to grow and develop from the mistake that you have made. These wrong decisions should help you grow and develop as an individual as well as a leader and in return should benefit your business in the long run.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
This article made a valid point here. We all know that we should learn from our mistakes and we indeed should. As a leader when you make a made decision you should definitely take the time to see everything you did wrong and what you could have done differently. It would make no sense to make a mistake and not evaluate the mistake to figure out how you could have a better outcome the next time around. It is very important as a leader to be able to embrace each and every one of the bad choices you make, so that you can analyze the lessons learned, which will lead to better choices in the future.

Instant MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make I agree with this article to the highest extent. Leaders should embrace the decisions they make, whether it be good or bad. Sometimes making the wrong decision may seem like the right thing to do, but once you come to the realization that it was wrong, drowning is sorrow and regret will make the effects much worse. Searching deep within and figuring out what actually caused the decision to be wrong, is the correct way to handle the situation. Embracing the fact that you did screw up, and that you realize it takes courage. And it won’t be an easy task, but as the leader, you have to suck it up and keep going in order to lead your team into victory.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
I agree with the article in that it is important to embrace the bad decisions and try again. I think it is OK to be a little emotionally involved with what your doing with your business. We must behave like robots sometimes to get past the pain of failure. Even though this is a normal human feeling, it is best to feel bad for a limited amount of time and then move on. Staying and fretting about something only causes confusion and doubt.

INSTANT MBA: Communication Gets Lost Throughout The Chain Of Command
I agree that being "transparent" with communication throughout the company will keep the chain of command focused. Having all employees aware and on board with the company's goals and keeping them updated will bring them together. It will make employees feel part of the team and can contribute to the company's goals. This way everyone on staff are included in the plan to move the company ahead. No matter if the goals are obtained, fall short or change, employees are part of the plan. This will encourage unity and focus to obtain them.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
In order to not make the same bad decisions again it is important to embrace those decisions that you have made. You always learn from your mistakes and that is apart of life. Embrace it and do not stay in it. Just know that there is a possibility that you can do better next time.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Making decisions is a manager's job. Making bad decisions will always happen. You have to learn from your mistakes, embrace them, and move on. Knowing when you made a mistake is what makes an "ok" leader great!

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Making a wrong decision happens to everyone. The way you react to that decision separates that winners from the losers. You must embrace your mistakes and learn from them. Take the good parts out of it and build on that, and see what went wrong and change that. It's like the famous saying "if you don't learn about your history it will repeat itself". Same thing in business, if you don't learn from your mistakes, there is a good chance you will make the same mistake again.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
I'm not sure if you should go that deep into thought about every bad decision but it is beneficial to learn from your mistakes. We all make mistakes and we regret that we made them but the best thing to do is to keep your head up and move forward. I don't think it's good to dwell on mistakes too long. Find out what you did wrong so you can correct it in the future and then just move on.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
I have been a manager at my current job for a little over a year. With that promotion came much more responsibility and often times having to make tough decisions. No decision you make is perfect, and there will be a trade off between good and bad outcomes. My boss empowers us to make decisions on our own and preaches the philosophy that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Over the past year I have made some great decisions that really benefited the company, but I have also made bad ones that I regretted. But, whether the decision was good or bad, it was experience none the less. A way to educate myself to better prepare for the future decisions that I will have to make. We all live and learn, whether it be in or business or life in general. If you make a bad decision, consider it a way to grow. Feel the regret, but then utilize the lesson learned as a positive.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make I agree with you if we feel truly feel the consequence of a mistake it definitely will not happen again, at least by you, because you will remember how it felt to make the mistake and why not to make it. Also I feel a mistake is only a "mistake" if you don't take the time out to learn the lesson from it. Once you figured out the lesson then it because a learning experience. No person, manager, CEO, etc .. is perfect and I feel like people should remove the pressure from themselves at being perfect. It would create more successes in their life and in their business.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make I like this article because it helps leaders understand that it's alright to make mistakes because nobody is perfect. Leaders are faced with problems and decisions to make everyday and to get every single problem right is impossible. While it's okay to make mistakes, it's not okay to keep making the same mistakes which is why leaders must learn from the bad decisions they have made in the past. Many leaders may think they have learned from their mistakes simply because they say "I've learned from my mistakes" but if the same situation arose again they would still probably make the wrong choice. Leaders must sit and analyze their mistakes in order to understand what they did wrong and how to fix or avoid it next time.
