INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
When running a business you are better off to not base your emotions on how well or how bad your business is going. Setting all your emotions aside when forming a business is what will help you throughout your journey. Most of the time when forming a business most people get scared of their investments. Most are scared to put too much money into a company just in case it fails. But they don't realize that this will initially result in failure because as long as you're scared to fail then majority of the time you will do just that. Completely voiding your emotions will normally help you to succeed.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
There is a delicate balance between being too emotional and emotionless in regards to your business. The author says to take emotion completely out, I don't necessarily agree. I understand that emotion can cloud judgment and also cause losses to be more painful but a little emotion tied to your business also makes you more passionate for its success. That passion and emotion can be transcendent on to other members and others will want to adapt to that mentality.

Emotion can be used as a tool in business, mainly to start Passion. However, emotion is usually a bad thing. Emotion hinders your ability to think logical which is a serious problem running a business. I definitely agree with this link in that emotion needs to be put aside when it comes to business.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
l believe the one should never ever be emotionally attached to a business. Kathleen King said , “It's the advice I always give when people ask: take the emotion out, and you'll be surprised at how less consuming your business will be and how much easier it is to execute.”

King makes a very valid point when she says that one should not become too emotionally attached to their business. Negative things happen all the time, and as a leader/owner of a particular business, you should not become too emotional when things do not go according to plan. King is a prime example of what to do when the worst of the worst happens. Do not dwell on the negative, and separate yourself from all emotional attachment so that you might be able to think from an objective and non-biased point of view.

The article gives a great example for what it wishes to get across to readers, a person who got kicked out of her own business only to turn around and create a new, better business that shut the old one down. If someone was emotionally attached to that business then I doubt that person would be able to bounce back that well. If you keep business as business and nothing more people will be more successful when faced with adversity. People's family life will also be better, if someone is emotionally attached to a business they tend to spend more time with the business then time with the family. I agree with this article when it states that being emotionally attached to a business can only be detrimental to the outlook of that company and your life.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
Emotions are an irrational impulse, often a poor reaction to a difficult situation. If there is one thing that must be avoided at all costs in business is irrational impulses and poor decisions. This article discusses the importance of detaching one's personal emotions from the business plan. I agree with this article.

INSTANT MBA : Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
I really love this article. It discusses the importance of not being emotionally attached to a business. Kathleen King, owner of Tate's Bake Shop talks about how she began a bakery shop years ago where she shared equal parts into the investment with two other partners. The two partners eventually removed her from the company that she started. However, she was able to move forward and opened another shop that sales to every state in the U.S., while her original shop is now closed. This is a happy ending that most wouldn’t see coming. It helps give faith that better things to do come a long. It is great advice to not be emotionally attached to a business because you never know what the future holds.

44 INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Emotionally Attached To The Business
This article talks about being emotionally attached to your business. Sometimes you need to think with your head and not your heart. Just because the business has done well in the past does not mean you should continue if currently it is sinking fast. If you are given an offer to get from the under the business, and the price is fair you may want to take it. Don’t let the emotion be a part of the decision.
