INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Culture is a very important aspect of a company. Forming a positive culture in a growing company is even more important. Forming trustworthy and friendly relationships with your workers can help a business. If people feel like they are wanted at their jobs or that they are your friend, they would more probably be more willing to get the work done that is asked of them. In a small company with a small amount of workers, it is crucial that everyone does their part and gets their work done. The amount of work that one worker is required to do is a larger portion of all the company's work. Making sure your workers are comfortable and forming a strong culture is crucial to a small business.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
A positive company culture is circumstantially important even though it is becoming more of a rarity in today's business world. One company that I believe is leading in this category is Zappos. Zappos seems positive company wide culture starts from its CEO and works its way down. That is why I believe they as a company experience so much success.

Growing your company from a 3 to 15 can be difficult said Aaron Rudenstine. I agree with him on trying to grow your culture with personal connections. Just do not let the vision and mission of your company be over run by personal disagreements between employees and yourself. Try to maintain a goal and relate that goal to a similar connection between employees and yourself. Remember business and personal do not always connect so getting to personal might be bad for the culture or company. Be positive and keep employees motivated toward company goals.

Culture is extremely important to businesses, especially in a small organization. It is definitely important at the start of building any company when you're having problems with growing pains. "The Harvard-grad tell us that when you grow from three to 15 people in a short amount of time, it can be challenging for everyone in the company and personal connections help to pull the company through during these hard times." Your company will run smoothly when you have a culture that's built on trust, respect, and good communication.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Aaron makes a valid point when he states that one of the most important aspects in any company is the culture provided by the employers. I've worked at many different fast food stores for the top chain in the country, and community and culture is one thing they believe in strongly. They'll hold company bowling parties, Christmas parties, fund Thanksgiving dinners at each store, etc. to bring the employees together and help them feel as if they are part of one big family. Now the I'm teaching, I'm at a school where my principal and mentor teacher go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, supported, and needed. Even on my most difficult days, I know I can simply go into their rooms and unload as if they were one of my family members. This connection is what helps me, and I'm sure many others, get through rough patches at work and what make employees WANT to give their all to their bosses who show they truly care.

I think it is very important to create company culture at the beginning stages of the business. It makes things easier in the long run. New employees learn upon arrival what the company is all about and how the work atmosphere is. If you do not worry about the culture of the company at the beginning, it can be much more difficult to change it in later stages. It's crucial to make a trustworthy atmosphere for all employees. Having a positive company culture can change the work attitudes of employees and keep longer lasting and trustworthy workers.

Company culture can be compared to a relationship. People desire to be around others they are comfortable with and have complementing personalities. In order for there to be trust, respect, and open dialogue a company should employee people who have similar personalities first. With personality matches everyone should be willing to interact comfortably and build a strong culture.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
When a working environment can connect on a person level, it makes working a whole lot easier. Communication is the number one factor here. When employees can openly communicate about things and work together to handle issues, the company is doing well. Throughout every business there will be problems. Whether it is growing pains or internal problems, they all exist. How we handle them is what matters. Management needs to make sure the environment is one that the employees are happy in. A leader needs to make sure that they are communicating with their employees and letting their employees understand they can come to them with problems.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
I absolutely agree with the author. Culture is important in business. It affect the bottom line of a company. If the culture of the employees align it means having a good day at work, less stressful environment which means increase creativity at work, an environment where people talk and share ideas together freely, and of course people get connected and retention rate will go up.I believe culture is everything in business. I personally love to work with people who share ideas freely, and people who love and appreciate diversity and uniqueness of an individual in general.

Aaron Rudenstine says, "The personal connections that I forge with people I work with are really important to me. If you can create a culture where there's trust, respect and open dialogue, everything will run a lot more smoothly." Creating a culture can really help your company or business out but not only for employees, but also your customers. When customers see how good your employees are and like your business, they will come back.
