INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains I agree with this article. Having a company culture that supports trust, respect, and open dialogue will definitely make the company run smoother. This is because employees feel comfortable in the workplace, always knowing they will be treated with respect. A company without this type of culture will probably have many problems when it comes to employee communication because some employees may not respect other employees. When employees feel that they’re being disrespected at work then efficient work may not get done, causing the company to lose profit so I think more companies should focus on this aspect for their business.

Alt link 41: INSTANT MBA: Generosity Will Make Relationships Stronger At Work
Its never a good idea to burn bridges or be derogatory to others in the workplace. You never know when actions like that will come back to haunt you. You may treat an employee like dirt while they are working for you, and a few years later you come to find out that an influential member of an organization whose business you are trying to get is none other than that employee you treated like dirt. Good luck getting that companies business then.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
One of Raising Cane's main focuses is to have a "cool culture." Our founder Todd believed a very similar idea as the author of this article, that the closeness of a crew could make a huge difference in a company's success. Our Raising Cane's we want our crew to always have fun at work, and feel like a family. By doing this we have a crew morale which filters down to our customers. If you have happy employees it is only naturally that they will give top notch customer service, leading to satisfied customers. This also provides with an open communication stream between or crew and management, all the way up to the top. Everyone in our restaurant is always very honest, and are constantly giving their opinions for ways to improve. Often times these opinions become reality due to the closeness and family like environment we create at our company.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Having culture in a company can make the company run smoothly. I agree with having culture in a company because if you have culture then all of the employees can be on the same page. If a company has culture and something goes wrong then there won't be any questions about what should be done. Having culture is like having rules for the company to follow.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Company culture can help to make a business very successful! When a company has a strong sense of culture and everyone feels as though their role is important, it can make a tight knit environment filled with trust. Once this is in place, it makes it easy for people to ask for help, throw out ideas and bounce them off each other, and people are more likely to feel connected to the business. When a company has a little hiccup, the employees have a trust that is instilled within them and it can help to push the company through the hard times!

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
This really does seem like an obvious tactic. Mostly because without this kind of communication, what kind of productivity could there be? If everyone in the business feels alone all the time they are working, then clearly they won't be comfortable enough to be as great as they could be. This really applies all the way up to management positions. A manager has to have a "mu door is always open" type of attitude, with respect and trust, or he will not be able to get the most out of his business.

Large growth over a small period of time in a company can be tough on relationships in the office. I have been involved in a growing company and the original members of the company really did welcome all the new employees. This made it hard to get settled and ultimately hard to do any work.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
This article sends a simliar message as one of the previous articles when it says culture is one of the most important aspects of a company. Knowing that you have a loyal and trustworthy employee base can have a huge impact on the success of your company, and in difficult times, this can be what gets you through. If the culture of the company is not good and you have people sneaking around doing unprofessional things, this could ultimately result in the failure of your company.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Company culture is something that is very important for the survival of your business, especially in times of growing. Like the article says, if you go from having 3 to 15 employees in a short amount of time, it can be a rough adjustment for those tenured employees and the new ones. The tenured employees will need reassurance in job security, pay, and title/responsibility. The new employees will have to be trained and have a sense of job security as well. If your company has a good culture and your employees can feel that, things will go much smoother. If your employees can tell that you take the time to listen and care for them, your expansion is more likely to be an easier process.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
I believe a companies success is dependent upon the culture of the company. Management should incorporate a friendly and trustworthy environment for employees. This can help lead to better work performance and greater team cohesiveness. I believe the culture starts at the top and trickles down to the others.

INSTANT MBA: Company Culture Will Help You Through The Growing Pains
Open communication within a business, especially a small business, is vital. When a business is started, “growing pains” happen, because of fast growth and hiring of new employees. If the culture of the business does not allow for open, but respectful communication between employees, the company will crumble from the tension and stress. Open communication allows for managers and owners to give and receive feedback crucial to company success, as well as successful interpersonal relationships. Finally, if the interpersonal relationships between company employees is in a good place, this will allow for no hurt feelings if someone is critical about issues within the company.

Having some type of culture for your business will let employees love their job. Having a culture will keep your mind off of things, while the company goes through growing pains.
