It is very important for a business owner or leader to create a culture for your work environment that is open and friendly for your employees. This will allow for open lines of communication and make employees more passionate about their jobs. I saw this when I started at my current job five years ago. My boss created a work place that was open and friendly. There are open lines of communication and a work place that is enjoyable to be in. When you create this your employees will be happier and work well together.

I 100% agree with this article. Keeping your staff connected and being connected with your staff generates revenue. It everyone is connected and on the same page they are more motivated and can trust the next person. It creates a happy and safe work environment, where employees feel comfortable enough to ask the manager for help or ask a colleague for assistance. Company culture can pull anyone through a hard time. At my job, people talk behind each other's backs and constantly call each other a failure. This shows in day to day business when things go wrong and it is blamed on that other person when they may or may not have had anything to do with it. Company culture is an easy thing to maintain if it is started from the beginning. Trust, loyalty, and forgiveness are taught to everyone.

In a business it is important for you to have some type of culture for you company and stick to it. For my company they have a culture that deals with core values and integrity. I believe that having a culture for your business set you apart from other business and also give your employees some type of direction. For example, I want to talk about Raising Canes, they are the most friendliest employees that I have every met. I believe that the enthusiasm that they display is part of their company culture and I love to go there. Raising Canes culture sets them apart from any other resturant I know.
