INSTANT MBA: This Could Be 'The Most Powerful Leadership Tool You Possess'
Forgiveness in a leadership role is very important. I realized that when I was working on a project with my cousin one day and he told me he couldnt do something and I said he could. But I knew at the end of the day, he didnt develop the skills to do that task, so I said its okay Im sorry I tried to make you do that job when I knew you wasnt capable of doing that yet, and with that being said we understood what jobs was possible for him and which task wasnt.

Forgiveness. This article is about forgiving employees and there mistakes. Sometimes harping too much on a past mistake can cause an employer to not see all the good in an employee. Sometimes making mistake is a good thing in a company because that is the only way employees learn and can overcome their mistakes and grow. Also, by treating an employee negatively can cause them to continuously be afraid of making mistakes and not be able to produce to their maximum potential.

INSTANT MBA: This Could Be 'The Most Powerful Leadership Tool You Possess'
This might be my favorite article that I've read in doing these. The most powerful leadership tool to possess is forgiveness. People are not perfect and will make mistakes, when you are able to take into account that everyone makes mistakes at some points it will be beneficial for your business. We need to forgive and have a respect for the mistake they made but not dwell on it. Recognizing the mistake and pointing it out in necessary but should be gone about realizing that everyone messes up.

Being considerate to your employees is essential in making sure they work at their greatest potential. Although employees may make mistakes it is important to put yourself in their shows and look at the employee as a whole instead of just the one mistake. The employee will appreciate your consideration and work harder towards working for your business.

Employees are people and the most important people in a company, but they are not perfect. They often make mistakes. However, by dwelling on that mistake, you might overlook the employee's skills and not utilize them in the best way. So next time your employee messes up, try putting things in perspective.

When a mistake happen the most likely thing is to want to blame it on someone. When you blame one of your employees for something that has gone wrong it can begin to discourage them and cause them to not want to work to their full potential on the project they are working on or any project in the future. Mistakes happen all the time in the business world, so instead of finding someone to blame it on or laying the blame on someone who may or may not deserve it, find the root of the mistake. Once you do this you can determine the problem of the mistake and turn it into a lesson for your employees and fix it so that it does not happen again. When you single someone out- whether you meant to or not- it will make your employees not want to speak up or even want to be a part of any projects in the future.

It makes sense to keep everything in perspective and not get too carried away with what happened. I can tell you that patience with an employee will make the learning curve a lot smoother. I know from experience in sales that I had no idea what the routine was, I had no idea what to do in certain situations and it made it hard to make the right decisions. Luckily, management was kind and walked me through what to do, it could easily have been the opposite where I would get discouraged and ultimately stop working there. I became a very good salesman racking up sales left and right, I truly believe that because management did such a good job of molding and teaching me that I became what I was. This approach is definitely the right way to introduce employees to what you would like for them to learn and for them to grow.

Diplomacy is the willingness of an individual to treat other people as they wish others to treat them. Every leader should understand that mistakes are inevitable and unpredictable. Every good leader should understand the importance of amnesty and always have a contingency plan for failure. This article discusses that importance in specific detail. I agree with the concept of this article.

Companies are nothing without their employees. They need someone to work these jobs and keep the company run successfully. So when employers find these employees it is important for them to keep them. That is why forgiveness is important. You cannot hold a grudge for a mistake someone makes. Instead, help them not to make the same mistake twice.

Being able to forgive as a manager is a very important tool in a business. This is because everyone is prone to mistakes and how a manager responds to those mistakes can decide where the business is going with its employees. Managers should be able to forgive and work with employees so that mistakes won't happen again. Mistakes can also be avoided by having more supervision but not too much, your employees shouldn't feel as if you expect a mistake from them. Employees should know that you are forgiving so that if they make an error they will tell you before you find out from another source. Remember as an manager you can not forgive too much.

I agree with this article. We as humans make mistakes from time to time. As a manager we must forgive those mistakes that our employees make. If we can’t get passed their mistakes, we may never be able to utilize them to the best of their potential. You should guide them and help strengthen their weaknesses.

Forgiveness. This article is about forgiving employees and their mistakes. This is true in the work place and in life in general. You cannot control what has already happened. You can only control how to move forward. You should forgive and figure out how to not let a certain mistake happen again.
