Presenting new ideas to someone else could be a challenge in itself. This article goes back to an earlier post, convey your idea but limit irrelevant information. Sure, everyone wants to pitch a perfect idea but, you must not get comfortable. Allow for outside input, implement change, and keep your same general idea. If you properly convey your idea with confidence, then others will feed off of that energy. The article states that you should know your audience, meaning the way you pitch an idea to your friends is completely different than how you pitch it to a fortune 500 CEO.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
You hear over and over again how important it is to make your employees feel empowered. Having their input on your initial idea helps you all become more acquainted with the goal and come up with a plan that is not one-sided. Even if you have done tons of research on your plan, there is always something you never thought of that can help your idea come to life in a more outstanding way.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Your idea has to motivate you and if it doesnt the people you are going to working with isnt going to be motivated at all. I notice that when i had an idea, i didnt show interest in it so nobody really cared about it. I realized after that situation that I have to show more interest into some of my great ideas. People like the fact that you have ideas so show them what you have to offer on the table rather than hiding it all in.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Statistics and well-planned presentations are important but can not be fully received when not delivered with passion and optimism. Passionate ideas are contagious and people will adopt these ideas easily when they feel your passion. You must be careful though, an attention to detail is important and can not be overlooked just because you are passionate. That is something that I need to overlook, just because I am excited about a topic I often don't take the proper time to prepare. A proper mix of passion and attention to detail is required to deliver your ideas to people.

From the few jobs i’ve had i’ve noticed that if i don’t believe in what I’m selling, i’m not going to be passionate about selling it. It is important to truly believe that your product or service is the best because if not you won’t be excited about selling it and will eventually lose business. Belief in a product can differentiate one business from the next.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations I think that before presenting an idea to clients or fellow employees, you have to have a strong belief in them. Regardless of how presentable and prepared you may be, it's easy for others to see whether or not you're fully invested in your mission. It is always good to get the opinion of others, sometimes they can see things that you never see.

Knowing your audience is a very important part of giving a presentation. Some businesses lack this when they are trying to present something either to a client or to their employees. Knowing your audiences appropriate language and how they respond can make or break your sales pitch. You would also want to be very passionate about what your selling otherwise no one else would want it either. If you do these things it can be easier to sell your product. Good presentations are not all that a business is about but as long as they are well done and you are passionate about your business it will help to keep you and your business on top.

I feel as though someone who doesn't have faith in an idea won't be the one presenting that idea to others in the first place, that would be bad managing. If someone does have faith in an idea that person would be the front runner for presentations. I feel that people need to have a mostly baked idea, maybe 99% done. Others can have input on that idea to make it even better. I would agree that integrating an audience into a presentation would be very wise to do. Obtaining their reactions to and knowledge of an idea will only polish off the one that is already had by the presenter.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
Every idea is based on some form of statistics. Every presentation has a goal of reaching out to a group of people to influence, motivate, or inform them. This article states that experience is the key factor in a successful idea. I agree that experience is the 'x-factor' when formulating an idea for business. The success of new idea for a business is determined on the effectiveness of all three concepts. Experience to develop an idea, statistics to conceptually back-up the idea, and presentations to investor to fiscally back-up the idea.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
I agree with the article, you have to be confindent in your idea. If your not confident in it no one else is going to be either. You have to make people believe in what you believe and to do this you have to be motivated in you idea. I also believe that you need to be prepared for a presentation. When your prepared for a presentation it shows that you care and are invested in your idea.

Numbers only say so much. True enough they are very helpful and sound very good but you have to have people who express more than numbers in order to be successful. You must know who you are speaking with because some people may not be comfortable talking solely numbers. If numbers is all that you are familiar with, than you are lacking content. Having plain figures without character is not only boring, but it lacks substance.

INSTANT MBA : Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
I agree with this article. If you don’t believe in your own idea, no one else will believe in it either. People can tell during a presentation of an idea if you don’t’ fully believe in it yourself. The author also says to “know your audience" and to deliver a pitch with passion and optimism. When people tell you what’s wrong with your idea, make them part of the design process, and build support along the way. And most importantly, don't forget the big picture. Don’t forget why you though the idea was good in the first place.

33 INSTANT MBA : Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
I agree with this article. If you don’t believe in your own idea, no one else will believe in it either. It is just like selling a product; you are more likely to sell that product effectively if you believe in it. Anyone can go and pitch an idea by mindless reading from the projector. Your audience will be able to go if you are just winging it.
