INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
First you have to believe. Believe in what you are doing, where you want to end up, and what you want to achieve along the way. If you doubt what you are doing, failure will be your end result. An idea could be a great one, but if you don't fully believe in the idea then there's a chance it will not work out. When you fully believe in what you are doing it is easier to make others believe in you as well. It is important to know your audience and to have their attention on your idea. It is important to draw them into your idea and have them believe in the idea just as much as you do.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
This article gives advice on how to pitch your ideas and implement them successfully. Before selling your ideas to others, you should be ready with passion and optimism and be prepared to answer any questions or concerns people may have. It is not important to have the idea fully developed. In fact, it is wise to leave room for suggestions and input from others. Allow your team members and employees to be a part of the idea. It is also important to not lose sight of the idea. Look at the big picture and don't get distracted by small details or stray to far away from the original idea.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
While numbers are capable to carry stories, it entirely depends on the story teller on how the stories are presented. And, of course, for a idea to be clear it needs a lot of hard work in analysing the data, in other words a well planned effort is required. It is indeed easy to get caught up in the minute details of the matter and therefore careful pre-examination and preparation is the best way to present anything besides a good statistical data to support the thesis.

I couldn't agree more that it is important to believe in something yourself, before trying to make other people believe it. Being passionate about something can really change the way people think of it as well. This made me think about a used car salesman as an example. He can sit there and tell you all the great things about a car, but if he knows deep down that it's junk on wheels, he will really have a hard time trying to convince you to buy it as well.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
I agree with the article. It is important to own your idea. I have seen people offer up their ideas and have them nit picked and torn apart by others because the idea was not very well thought out or they did not think about all of the possibilities before hand. When things like this happen people tend to get discouraged from discussing their ideas in the future.

Ideas are important to business growth. First, you must have people who are invested in the business and passionate about what the business does. These people who are now a part of your team will play vital parts in brainstorming new ideas to make the business better. Team brainstorming can result in ideas that will greatly benefit the business so, it is vital to make sure that those who you chose to be a part of the business are those who really care where the business is going and are invested in being a part of taking the business to the top. Bringing ideas to this group of highly invested group is a way to take the most basic idea and evolve it into something great with perspectives and opinions of everyone in the team.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
This idea falls back on the link of the day 32. The idea does not have to be completely planned out to every minute detail. Passion can propel an idea further than the planned facet, people desire to follow inspiration, not numbers and power points. No plan can be completely implemented on its own. In fact, if you allow others to be involved in implementing an idea or plan they will be more likely to be committed to its success. It is all about team work. Drive the idea, not the details in which it brings it to life. There are many paths to success, it doesn’t matter which one you take, as long as you get there.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
When presenting a proposal to investors or potential clients, it is extremely important that you be fully invested in the project yourself. If you aren't fully motivated in the proposal, you can expect anybody else to be and especially not risk their money in an investment that may not work out. You also have to expect constructive criticism and not be so egotistical that you can't use that criticism to alter your idea to best suit the investor or consumer.

INSTANT MBA: Be Confident And You'll Succeed
This article talks about being confident and with being confident you will succeed. I believe this is true if you're confident you'll believe in yourself and believe you can do more. A lot of people have fears and are scared of success and what they can accomplish. You have to be confident and be fearless when it comes to success. If you live your life without fear of failure you will succeed.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Ms. Chitra Narasimham is the managing director at Citi Ventures. He advises to have a real passion in what you're doing, and to ensure beforehand that your whole team is on board with you. "If you go to a team with a fully baked idea, they're going to tell you what's wrong with it; make them part of the design process, and build support along the way. And most importantly, don't forget the big picture: It's easy to get caught up in the details, but don't forget why you thought the idea was good in the first place." I think this is good advice, but again, a bit cliched. Obviously you must be passionate about your ideas, and obviously you must have a team that fully supports you and the idea. I guess the item of merit here is to emphasize that strictly preparing your content and presentation is a strategy that will fall flat if it isn't supported by a shared drive to see this idea succeed.

It's important to be able to know your audience and speak to them at a tone and voice they can relate to. People like listening to presentations they can relate to or that are entertaining. They do not necessarily need an overwhelming amount of statistics and graphs shown to get the point across. It's good to be able to know what you are speaking about fully and almost have a conversation with the audience.

Confidence. Motivation. These are both qualities you must have when making your idea a success. You have to have a passion for the type of company you are producing. Self-motivation can't come from anyone else but yourself. If you don't believe in your idea then no one else will! I have a passion for dancing which is why I decided to open up my own dance studio, and every time I have to teach I feel that I am doing a hobby rather than working because it is something I enjoy so much. This passion has made things easier for me, and it actually makes you want to continue to improve your business.

I think that if you believe in something then you can convince others to believe in it too. I believe that you also have to relate the product to the people who you are pitching it to. You also can't just throw a bunch of numbers and statistics at people and just expect them to understand them. Make them believe that you product or idea is something that they cannot live without. If you do this, then these people will support your product and do anything to help you make the product succeed.

I agree, deliver a pitch with passion and optimism. Grab their attention as you present. Let the listeners know your idea and why you believe in it. If you’re not interested in it no one will be.
