INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations I like this idea because so many good ideas or not used because of a bad presentation. The presenter may have a great idea but doesn’t believe others will agree so he or she is never, doesn’t present it as they should, and the idea gets ignored. You must be confident in your ideas and present them as if it’s already being implemented into the company but even if you have a good presentation with good statistics that doesn’t mean it will be accepted. You should be passionate and show your audience how this idea would benefit the company, the employees, and the community in other ways than numbers and flashy presentations.

Alt link 33: INSTANT MBA: Be Confident And You'll Succeed
Confidence is everything. How you carry yourself, how you act, and talk tells a lot to others who you are and what you are capable of. Starting a new business can be a scary thing to anyone, but with the right mind set and confidence it will be an easy transition once the wheels get rolling.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
When presenting an idea to others, you need to make them feel as if they want to join your team and see the idea to the finish. Presentation is what is key to most successes. Having people jump on board with your idea and throw feedback and help with criticism can help you push through the difficult times. People and motivation is the key to keep moving. Your presentations must get them on board and you must show them how much the idea means to you and should mean to them.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
A idea is more than just the details and planning that made it a physical possibility. Just because it sounds good on paper and looks good on a screen doesn't mean it's ready to go. An idea has a human element in it much stronger than the details. The belief that it will work has to be present before anyone hears about it. That way you will be able to work through any problems and criticism to get to the final product quicker and more efficiently

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
If you are about to present an idea to people make sure your confident in what you are about to say. If you have a idea make sure it is well planned out. People will most likely ask you questions so make sure you are prepared for whatever questions they may have. If you are starting to doubt you idea look at the big picture. Don't get caught up in the little things of your idea but look at what it will be able to provide for you in the future.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Whether or not you fully believe in the line of business you are in is so important. People can read into you and what you really believe very easily, and when trying to sell someone on an idea or object, you must fully be behind that product. I also think that people relate more to your personal experience and what you think about the product than the statistics and data of the product.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
This article provides good advice for getting people to believe in your project. If you want people to trust in. Your ideas, you have to show that you believe in them yourself. No one is going to follow a person that visibly does not believe in what they are preaching. I can personally tell when a person is passionate about what they are talking about. I find it easier to learn from a professor that is lecturing about a subject they are passionate about because generally, if they care about the subject they are teaching, their excitement and enthusiasm rubs off on the class and it's easier to learn.

I agree with this article. It is very important to have your team involved in the planning process because when you present the idea they will know what all went into the process. This is important because it is very easy to pass judgement on an idea, you will think twice if you were involved in all the work.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations Getting others on board with your ideas can be very difficult. I have found that you absolutely need to have the other team members be part of the design process. It gives them the knowledge and understanding of your idea as well as helps you determine the flaws that can help improve the idea to a more cohesive one.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
This article goes hand-in-hand with the last article about a business being more than just a good idea. Although the idea is what gets you started in the first place, you have to be able to work with it and carry it out in an effective manner. Not only do you have to believe in what you're trying to market, you have to be able to get others to believe in it too. If you do this in such a way that motivates people to want to try your product, that is when you become successful.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
If you don't show that you have confidence in your idea, how can you ask someone else to? Knowing your idea and the audience you are presenting to is a very important piece to selling your idea.In order to convince someone of something, you must first believe it. This allows you to already have responses to any oppositions that may come up.You must be confident in your ideas and present them as if it’s already being implemented into the company but even if you have a good presentation with good statistics that doesn’t mean it will be accepted.

Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
This article is so true. It is good to have a well thought out presentation when presenting something new, but at the same time make sure your audience is hearing something that will pique their interest. A strong business presentation should get the audience thinking long after your presentation is over. Think through every step before deciding what to present or not to present.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Good advice regarding involving others in the team. It is easy to get caught up in an idea and go full force with the idea. When working with a team you have to remember to work as a team. Bring the idea to the table and try selling to the team first. If you can’t sell it to your team, what make you think you will be able to sell it to the client.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
Having an idea that you stand by and are confident in will help with your presentation. I think that in order to have a idea look professional you need to have calculated science behind the idea. The calculations will support your idea or not. Having confidence in your presentation will allow the viewers to believe in your idea and support it for themselves.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
When posing an idea to a group, whether it be co-workers, management, clients, or investors, the presenter should believe in the idea or product. No matter how prepared one is to present, if the group senses that full faith of the presenter isn’t in the idea, the group will not back it. Narasimhan brings up that it is a good idea to not bring a complete proposal to a group, if you are trying to persuade them to join. Bring them in during the development of the idea, to allow for their faith to build along with yours.
