Instant MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations Anyone can do research and put together a spectacular presentation, but the question is 'do they believe in their idea?' If not, then whether the presentation is good or bad, the audience will not be interested. Believing in an idea can change someone’s whole perspective about it. Sometimes, embarrassment seems to be the barrier blocking the belief because the person feels as though the idea may not be fully developed or may not be a success. While all of this may be true, having the courage and belief will persuade the audience to help iron out the wrinkle spots and develop a well-rounded idea. I feel like the only thing statistics and a well-planned presentation will do is sidetrack the audience. But in no shape or form will they help make a believer out of an idea.

INSTANT MBA: Be Confident And You'll Succeed
Coming up with new business ideas is pretty feasible. With technology changing, the entire world is changing too. People learn to adjust their habits and preferences quickly, and there will always be room for innovation. This innovation is the key to introduce new leading-edge products and services that will satisfy those newly preferences and tastes of consumers. In order to achieve success in a business idea, an entrepreneur must be confident that this idea will thrive. However, when creating an idea, confidence is not the only element that determines success. The idea has to be realistic and innovative, so consumers will really be interested in exploring the new product or service. Just like the article says, anyone is capable of producing innovative ideas that can translate into business opportunities, but he or she must have confidence and determination in order to succeed.

When giving a presentation and trying to sell or present an idea it is always very important to know your audience. I think that this is what some businesses lack when trying to sell or present something. If you know your audience you can use the appropriate language and sales pitch. You must also be passionate about what you are selling. If you are enthusiastic about what you are selling, your audience will see that and you will be more likely to make a sale or present an idea that will be implemented.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
You could have all the bells and whistles on your presentation that you want, but if you don't believe in your idea, then it is already dead. If you don't show that you have confidence in your idea, how can you ask someone else to? Knowing your idea and the audience you are presenting to is a very important piece to selling your idea. No one is wanna go with the guy that barely knows anything about what he's saying.

MBA: Your Ideas Need to Be More Than Statistics and Well-Planned Presentations
In my current role, I am constantly preparing presentations for projects that I am supporting and leading and it is very important believe in what you are presenting. I have seen presentations given where the presenter did not fully believe in the information they were giving and it is very apparent if they don’t believe. When the presenter is not fully committed to the project, it makes it very difficult to get others interested and get them to believe. It is very important as you are building a presentation to remember the audience each time and anticipate any questions they would have and include those answers in the presentation.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
I agree that if you do not believe in something you are presenting to your clients, 9 out of 10 they won't believe in it either. Anybody can come up with an idea and back it up with statistics and a well-planned presentation, but if that person doesn't believe in that idea then it most likely won't be believable. Your audience should be able sense the passion that you have for what you are presenting to them. There is nothing wrong with gathering information pertaining to your idea, as for as statistics, or making sure your presentation is well-planned, but there's nothing like believing in your idea. If you are confident about what you are saying, you will have no problem answering questions and concerns.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
An idea has to be something that you put everything into. It has to be the foundation and the passion for what drives you to make the idea to work. For a person to be truly planned and prepared, You have to look past the problems that wait and the good that will come if the effort is put in. Just like in a speech class, you can have a well-planned speech and coordinate it well for the whole class. However, if you don't care whatsoever about what you are giving a speech about, you are better off not presenting it if the class and the teacher can tell you don't care.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
If you are not fully vested in what you're trying to do then you might as well not even start. You have to believe in every part of your idea even if you're not sure what it means yet. You also need to make other people feel the same way when presenting your idea; if you're not putting everything you got into it then they're not gonna take you seriously and you won't get very far with everything else that you had planned.

INSTANT MBA: Be Confident And You'll Succeed Confidence is a trait that one must have to start a business. I agree that putting confidence in your product, gives you the confidence to move your product. I'm not sure how to gain confidence or self-esteem in people. I struggle with lack of confidence and self-esteem, it's one reason I'm 47 and back in school. I know with a degree and experience I am gaining confidence in my salary. I feel that I'm overpaid, even with 20 plus years of experience, so getting my degree is one way I can gain some confidence in my salary.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
I have always agreed with the concept that if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will either. This same idea can be applied to the business world. How can you ever sell a product or service that you wouldn't purchase yourself? In order to convince someone of something, you must first believe it. This allows you to already have responses to any oppositions that may come up. If you are completely invested in something, it is much easier to get people to understand your passion and get on board also. But, if you don't honestly believe in your product, you won't be able to fool anyone.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
The idea is just the beginning for what you want to achieve. When you present this idea to a team you want to be passionate about it and should also be open to suggestions on how to bring that idea to life. Other people might have something that might help you out. People are going to support by someone that they feel are going somewhere with their idea and they are confident in what they want to achieve.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations Presenting an idea to anyone in business must be a 100% effort. If you do not believe in your idea, it will be obvious to the people your presenting to. You must have a strong belief in your products success and incorporate others into the formation of that belief. If you have supporters who put in a small amount of work into the projects outcome, they feel as though they are originators as well and the product will be a much more whole idea among your entire team. Present statistics which are relevant and create use well planned presentations to foster ideas to make your product the best.

I think that being confident in your idea allows you to receive the input or others perspective more graciously. Also if you are confident you will not get upset if something tries to tweak it for the better, you won't take it a personal attack. People feed off each other for creativity to generate any type of idea so having a team of people together can generate tons of success if they are all in the right mind set.

INSTANT MBA: Your Idea Needs To Be More Than Statistics And Well-Planned Presentations
I think that people can ultimately tell whether or not someone is being himself or herself. While it is important to be professional, being yourself allows others to appreciate the honesty and transparency. I believe that if you present yourself this way, you’ll get many more people on board with your idea because you show them that you’re honest and…….flawed.
