INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
I agree with the article in the sense that people will give more enthusiasm and energy to something they are invested in. People tend to give their best efforts when they believe in project as well. Every member of the team needs to believe one-hundred percent in the project and market it with that passion. The customer will be more likely go with the product that has those aspects.

I find this article relatable with a company that I have worked for in the past. The company was very big on instilling a culture in it's employees and I think these two topics go hand in hand. It is very important to make sure that employees at all levels are on the same page regarding where the business stands, what it stands for, and the direction it should be heading towards. The more that employees are on board with the overall vision of the business the better it can be relayed to the public.

It is important for people to know what your brand stands for and what it is all about. For example, one company may want to be known for their eco-friendly, natural products. If people know this about the brand, the ones who support in caring for the environment may want to purchase these products over another brand who is not considered "eco-friendly." This also gives the brand a competitive edge and a unique attribute to their brand. Ultimately, I think this article says to find what makes your brand different and unique and embrace it.

Your employees need to be well-educated on the purpose of your brand. In the article it says, "Once they understand the purpose, the passion for that brand will start to exist and come alive and then they can embrace that brand." It is important that everyone is on the same page with the overall goals of the brand you have made. I believe people tend to worker harder when they are invested in the company mentally. You will not get the results you want if you don't have enthusiasm and belief in the brand.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
I believe one of the best ways to make an employee truly enjoy what he or she does at work is to help him or her fully embrace what the company stands for. Employees who believe in their company's mission, goals and standards are much more likely to work efficiently and work for the best interest of the company and the work team. A few years ago I worked as an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. This company has one of the best reputations in the world for customer service. Every new beauty consultant participates in training to learn the core standards of the company, the basic business plan and business marketing, and how he or she can succeed. He or she learns that in Mary Kay there are no glass ceilings; the sky is truly the limit. Early on, consultants learn that at the core Mary Kay is about 'God first, family second, and career third. They learn that the dreams and aspirations Mary Kay Ash herself had 50 years ago are the same as women today. In fact, every new consultant starter kit includes a copy of Mary Kay Ash's biography that explains the history and legacy of the company. Consultants who realize that they can make their dreams of owning their own business while helping others come true by embracing Mary Kay's simple business plan truly do succeed in the company. They begin to see MK as their 'pink bubble', and they view their fellow consultants as sisters (or brothers). The reason this company is one of the fastest growing and most stable cosmetic companies in the world is that its employees believe that anything is possible in Mary Kay.

Ray Kroc the founder of McDonald embraced Craig's philosophy. He made sure that his employees were educated on his products before he would allow them to deal with the public. Even today, new hirees must attend ongoing classes and seminars to ensure that they are highly educated about the products offered to the public. He even went so far as to create his own university where employees are actually able to earn a bachelors degree while being schooled on the McDonald's brand. Obviously then, embracement of the McDonald's brand has proven successful for Kroc and all of the other McDonald's employees to this day.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
I totally agree with Cline Davis Mann and i am one example of the people who love to know more about something in order to really get involved in it.If the employees have a better understanding of what the companies does, who they are, and what they stand for, and why they are important to the company then they can do better. Human are not like sheep, the more they understand on something the more they embrace. Having a partial understanding of the brand bring confusion and misunderstanding of the company who they represent.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
My goal in my career is to find a company that sells a product or service that I believe in rather than just find a job that pays well. A common phrase that I have heard is that if you enjoy what you do, you never work a day in your life. I think it is extremely important for every employee to be emotionally invested in the company that they work for. If you are not motivated about what you do, then you will have a hard time convincing customers to feel motivated about purchasing your product or service. Communicate your brand and what your mission and goals are before you hire a person and see if they feel the same way.

Instant MBA: Your Team Need To ‘Embrace What The Brand Stands For’ A company should have a mission and a vision statement that it a guideline for they want there company ran. They should always hire employees who are willing to follow those same standards. If they can’t be inline with the rule the organization has then they don’t need to be working for that company. Everyone should work as a team. A team is the foundation for a company to grow. A team works on the same page as one another and helps each other out. If they don’t get alone then some cuts need to be made for the good of the company.

"Your team needs to 'embrace what your brand stands for'"
Your teams needs to be enthusiastic and informed about your brand. By being enthusiastic, your employees will be able portray their enthusiasm to customers and other employees. They also need to be informed about your brand. What does it mean, why you are doing it, how it will better the company, and plans for the future. This way they will be able to inform other customers and employees accurately bout your brand.

This article goes for everything you do not only in life but with the business as well. You have to believe in whatever you are doing for it to work. If your team does not fully understand what goals you are trying to accomplish then their performance will be lackluster. When everyone has a common understanding of what is supposed to be done then the team will function better as a whole. I think when everything is running smoothly collectively and everyone has a common goal then the company will perform at it's peak.

Instant MBA: Your Team Needs To ‘Embrace What the Brand Stands For’
As a business owner, your vision of the brand should also be important inside your company. If you company is not as passionate and does not believe in the brand, it will not be successful. For example, a sales person that is passionate and believes about their product, will go out and make more sales that someone that is pessimistic about the product. It is not only important that consumers believe in your brand idea, but also your employees. By employees embracing the brand, it will lead them to hard work and dedication, which will make the brand successful.

Romanack takes the brand to another level. He wants the employees to be on the same page as the brand and the goals the brand is trying to achieve. The Brand needs to be known by all the employees in order to be on track for success. I feel hiring people who believe in your brand and want to improve on the brand is a great way to grow the brand name to great heights.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
As with any project not matter the setting, a team of people always put forth more effort when they feel invested on a personal level. To inspire enthusiasm in a project is a main focus in getting a team to embrace brand ideas. A good brand is delivered when the people behind the brand all believe in its purpose. Too many times I hear of things never quite delivering on what was expected all because of the fact that the people responsible were unsure of its purpose.
