INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For
Many companies probably have this problem with their employees. The employees don’t really know or respect the brand that they are supposed to be representing so it makes the company weak. When companies have employees who don’t take pride in what they do, the company usually fails to meet expected profits and future goals. Companies should make sure that their employees understand the way the brand needs to be presented and have employees who are dedicated to growing the brands along with the company.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
Nice article. I can completely relate to this. In 2002, I started working for a company that made tubular components for the oil industry. However, no one bothered to explain to me what each part did. They would just give me the blueprints and say, “We need this,” with no explanation and no overall picture of what the particular part went to. I was just making parts that had no meaning or importance behind them. Looking back, if they would’ve explained to me what I was making, I probably would’ve had much more respect for what I was doing

Alt link 29: INSTANT MBA: Google Advisor Says Not To Worry About Specialization In Your Career
I can only see the topic of today's link not holding true is the thing you specialize in is the thing you are able to be successful in. Other than that, you should work on making your "portfolio of knowledge" as large as possible in order to best choose what you will be the most successful in.

Instant MBA: Your Team Needs To ‘Embrace What the Brand Stands For’
I understand and can see the point that this author is trying to make. It is hard to be enthusiastic about something that you do not believe in. If you do not believe in what you are doing then you will not put forth your best effort into the creation, marketing or managing of it. When you do believe in what you are doing then you will do your best to see it through.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
Embracing a brand is hard to do without the background of the company. Once you have the background, a whole new world comes to view. Having passion and following the brand you work for is not only rewarding for you, but rewarding for your employers (which comes back to reward you anyways). Without knowing the background of your brand and brand name, you are in a black hole and missing vital pieces of information. This information is what helps you to do your job. If ever stuck in this position, just ask questions and eventually you will find all the answers you need to do your job the correct way.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
A person is always more motivated if the thing that needs doing involves them directly. For an employee, this means finding the right people who know about and care about the project they are working on. If they care about the project, the project becomes truly their project, and that means they work harder to make it go smoothly. This all means a better outcome due to harder work and more effort.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
When your business has a brand they are trying to promote, make sure your employees are willing to promote the brand also. For example, if you work for Nike then don't show up at work in under-armor clothes. When your company has a certain brand employees should want to promote that brand as much as possible so the company can do good. For example, many people are familiar with the cause relay for life. When people hear about relay for life they automatically think about a group that raises money for people with cancer. Relay for life made a brand name for them that people can recognize.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
I think the company I work for, raising canes, really tries to ensure that everyone in the company embraces what we stand for. They ensure that everyone is educated on our mission and vision statements. During orientation, every crew member watches this fun video that shows what we stand for and where be came from. They also try their best to find a way to get every crew member involved in whatever promotion we are going thought at the time, by holding contests and handing out rewards. They also allow the crew to have a party and decorate the store for holidays. I feel like canes goes out of their way to make the crew members each feel passionate about their restaurant and what we do every day. I think that Canes is so successful because they do this. They take the time to actually take care of their crew- by giving holidays off and providing flexible schedules, and tuition assistance to managers as well. Because they take care of us, we ensure that we take care of our business and what it stands for.

This is a great article. Being able to convince your team to buy into your brand is key. Also by doing so it helps remind you about the relevance of your cause. If your team is behind you mentally, they can also come up with relevant innovations to help your brand reach perfection!

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For' I think to do the job well you have to understand and be well rounded about The Brand period. I agree that The employee needs to have the passion to embrace what The Brand stands for. Many companies could benefit from this if they just took the time to inform the employee during the on boarding process.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
I once worked for a marketing company that sold television advertisements to local businesses. When I first started working for the company, I was not taught the in's and out's of the product, and therefore I didn't necessarily believe in the product. If there is one thing that makes a salesperson seem fake, it's when they don't believe in the product themself. For this reason, I think, as the article says, that one of the most important things your employees need to understand is the brand or product. This knowledge will reflect in the overall success of the business.

You can see examples of this many times with sales associates. I recently had an experience with an electronics representative that did not know the product she was representing and she seemed less than enthusiastic. If you're not excited about a product when you're selling it then you will not have much success; people won't be confident in buying it if you're not confident in selling it.It is important for us to stay in stock with inventory and gas, because if we are out of these things it turns customers away because that is what they come there for.

Instant MBA: Your Team Needs To ‘Embrace What the Brand Stands For'
Embracing the brand is good information. This concept holds true to many aspects of working together as teammates in business. Knowing what direction everyone is heading in and why things are being done a certain way helps everyone be on the same page working toward the same goals for a company.

INSTANT MBA: Your Team Needs To 'Embrace What The Brand Stands For'
The team associated with a certain brand has to be all-in to maximize effort and efficiency. The advisor correctly states that if the team members do not have enthusiasm and belief in the product or brand, the output from the team will be of insufficient quality. The key to building enthusiasm and belief in a product is to inform the members of the purpose of the brand or product, and give them “skin in the game.” Once this information transfer occurs, and if the members start to have time and energy invested in the project, that is when the enthusiasm for the project begins to mature and grow.

Instant MBA: Your Team Needs To ‘Embrace What the Brand Stands For’ The article want to make the point a brand is everything your company stands for. I agree without your brand your company has no identification. An employee must always remember what the brand stands for and support the idea of that brand. Brand stands for more than most people believe. If your company is known for being the best they refer to your brand more than others because they will know that if this has this brand it can be labelled as superior to the other products. But employees must understand what the brand stands for and that they believe in the brand themselves.
