Small business rely heavily on their community for most of their business. So they should strive to provide what their customers expect and want from them. Although it is hard to please everyone all the time, having a good reputation, good customer services, honest and integrity is important for small businesses.

Small businesses live or die by the community they are in. Things like reviews on yelp or just hear say can make or break you. I don't understand how her doors were to close if they could not get rezoned. Especially if they had been open for nine years. But that is beyond the point. Getting the community behind you in anything is a good step towards having a successful business.

I agree if you are a small business that you must connect with your community. This help with the business exposure and to gain loyal customer. As far as the video goes I don't know if it sent a good message with going around laws. Lastly, it is beneficial to a business in more ways than one when they're connected with the community.

I really enjoyed this video. I think that it shows the importance of customers in a small business and the effect that community has on making a business work. By the community coming together she was able to enhance her store and work around laws that without the help of the people around her she could not have done. You want to make sure that as a small business your customers are your top priority because they make you who you are.

A business that interacts and works with its community is given access to the many perks the community can provide. Businesses can take advantage of these dividends that will safeguard the company in times of distress or misfortune. All of which can cost a business money, but the return on the investment is priceless.

TITLE - The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community I like how she talked about the community as though they were her family, she showed a personable nature of approaching business decisions. She spoke on the importance of small businesses connecting with the community in order to keep the business going, this I believe to be important for a business of any size. If a business doesn't connect and help out around the community it is in, then it risks marginalizing itself from the customers within the community.

Being a small business it is very important to be part of your community. There business idea of knowing what your customers want is critical to staying open. The company that I work for we always try to participate in school events or fundraisers. Our clients knowing that we care for doing the right thing and participating in outside activities know who we are and what image we want to portray.i like this video I think all small business owners need to watch this. Many small business fail because of not going by this rule.

She is smart. She knows that community is vital to a successful business. She put it in the community's hands to keep them open by changing the laws. She put her neighborhood first and made a successful business from that. I understand that volunteering can greatly impact a community and will resonates with members of the community for a very long time.

I could not agree with this video more. I recently got engaged and I have been looking for bridesmaids dresses. I have been to the big store and they are just absolutely rude. I felt like I was just another number or sale and I did not get the attention that I needed. I then went into a small mom and pop type place and instantly fell in love. The owners were so nice and sat down with me and talked me through everything. i often wondered how small places like that could stay in business but it is because they have formed relationships with their customers. They can offer an experience that other, larger stores cannot. Because the wine store in the video had the community behind them they were able to get new regulations that allowed them to give their customers what they wanted.

This video talks about the contribution of small businesses to a community. The customer will support a community business that can make feel welcome. I found this video to be very insightful.

A small business starts within a community that begins to support that company. Without the support of the community it is in, a small business will have a tough time succeeding. The neighborhood makes or breaks small businesses. So, if visitors come to that neighborhood and ask about that shop or business, bad reviews turns away potential newcomers.

I love that she worked on changing local laws of her community in order to satisfy the wants of her customer. She made it a possibility for her customers to taste the wine before buying it, and her business survived during the economic downfall.

Small business and local community go hand in hand. Reaching out in your community and letting them know that you care about them will create relationships. Once you let them know you care about them, they will reciprocate the feeling. This can make or break a small business.

Embrace your community, throw charity events in the community and have gatherings. The example given in the video is a community wine cellar that grew to be part of the community. They worked around laws with lawyers to be able to serve wine before a customer buys it. I think this is a great video and I would love to go to a business that offers such a great customer experience. This is a great video for any local business to watch and to learn from.

A small business should focus on becoming close to their community and making them feel appreciated. No matter the barriers, a small business should over come them to create the best possible relationship with their community to continue operating a successful level.
