A small business should focus on becoming close to their community and making them feel appreciated. No matter the barriers, a small business should over come them to create the best possible relationship with their community to continue operating a successful level.

The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
Are we promoting American Express? This did not click with me. I received no value for this 1:30 minute video. Every small business is going to work with the community in order to keep their business open. Who wouldn’t? Even large corporations work with the community in order to rezone areas to work with their business model.

TITLE - The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community The takeaway from this video is that you need to know and appreciate your neighborhood. Of course the way she said it is more from a business point of view. Saying that customer cannot shop with you then you will not have business anyway. But she failed to explained how the business is helping or appreciating the local community.I like the idea that you need to be flexible and understanding to local people because this are the people who shop in your shop all the time.

The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
Good video. In this video she spoke on the importance of small businesses connecting with the community in order to keep the business going, but this would be important for a business of any size. If a business doesn't connect and help out around the community it is in, then the business probably won't get far. The local customers wouldn't feel like they should give their time and money to the company, if the company wouldn't do the same. This is a very easy principal that should be remembered throughout one's career.

For small businesses, embracing the community is what keeps your business alive. When you make the community and your customers feel appreciated they will in turn appreciate you through the support of your business. Being a part of the community creates an image that you are just one family unit that should be cared for as such. Creating loyal customers keeps your business afloat in times of crisis and will draw more business than any kind of other advertising will.

Supporting our small communities is important. Louisiana is made up of many small business owners as we do not have many publicly traded businesses. Expensive is not always the case with local businesses. Where as, personalized service could very well be experienced in a local business. I am a fan of both large and small businesses but understand that in-state companies generally keep profits in state and multi-state companies cary profits throughout its web. This is why states with a large number of head quarters and main offices have a large number of professional employees and generally are wealthier than other states.

This video talked about the importance of being a part of your community. Your neighborhood and community is what will keep you in business and make you successful. When everyone pitches in and supports one another, it makes everyone succeed. Doing lots of charity events will also get your name out there and make people see that you do care and appreciate them. Reaching out to others around you will be beneficial in more ways than you think. You never know when you will need someone to return the favor to you.

TITLE - The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
This video stresses the fact that becoming close with your community can be very beneficial to your business, especially a small, locally owned business. Sometimes it takes going the extra mile and pulling all the strings to keep the small business afloat. This process is much easier if you have become one with your community and have become close to them.

TITLE - The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
In a local business, its all about keeping your local market doing what the customer needs, even if laws have to be passed. The lady in this video went out of her way to impress her customers no matter what it took. If the business wouldnt have made changes for there local market, they would of shutdown there business and there wouldnt be anymore business to think of. This business was based on its customers and thats all that matters because without customers that isnt a business.

Embracing and helping out in your community is a very serious and vital role to a small business as seen in the video. When everyone is pitching in and helping each other and they know that you are there for them they will turn around and be able to help you out. Also, being involved with the community allows you to be able to relate on a personal level with your customers that will build deeper and longer relationships. Everyone should be involved in some way.

TITLE - The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community Small businesses are located all over but sometimes people just focus of the big name brand stores. People should embrace there local community and appreciate all of the small businesses that are located within. People can connect more with there local store because it more personable and customers are more valued. People should try to shop at there local grocery store more often to make sure they stay in business and are not forgotten.

A small business should always focus on being close and interactive with their community. Small businesses can sometimes have a small clientele, and if they know you personally and what you stand for, they will be more likely to put their money into your pocket than a big box competitor.
