That was a really sad video. But it's important to remember that you'll never be as young as you are now or as healthy.

I really enjoyed this video; it was very touching. I agree that parents should allow their kids to be creative, well at least my mom did I don't think it helped much. Another point that I found to be very use was the brick wall analogy. From this video I will never look at rejection the same way. Lastly, the last statement of the video just reinforces me to lead an honest life.

I really enjoyed this video. If we had one thing left to say before we died what would it be? It's not something that many of us think about but this speaker had the chance to do so in front of hundreds of others. I think that his video is inspirational, if you set your mind to something and believe that you can accomplish it that you can achieve it. Do the things in life that make you happy regardless of what others say because at the end of the day it's your life and you should live it the way that you want to.

This powerful video is inspiring and even though he had limited time left on earth, he spent it trying to help others. We should not feel defeat because we hit brick walls in our lives. Granted, death and getting rejected by a job offer aren't even in the same ball park; we should always get back up and try again to reach our goals.

This is a great video. Watching this video made me think of my grandpa who passed. He had a death that left him without speech. He was such a smart and talented persona and he couldn't say any last words. I would like to think more about what I would say in my last lecture If I gave one. Its interesting how he said when you get mad and angry at someone you may not have given them enough time. I think that some people just won't understand what to do and being upset with them could be from other things. I liked the video especially with the kids drawing on the walls as a kids. it kind of reminds me of how I was as a kid. Living your life in a great successful way is important and you should go beyond in achieving your goals.

TITLE - Randy Pausch's Last Lecture
The benefits of tenacity are big, i liked how he talked about the willingness to push and hustle to realize your dream. Very powerful message in this video.

It is so incredible that he is in such great health with only a few weeks to live. I completely agree when he says the dreams will come to you. They do. It was quite the speech and really made an impact on my eagerness to be creative and paint my bedroom walls. Even at the age of 26, I will strive to always speak as though it were my last speech.

This was such an awe inspiring video. I couldn't even begin to imagine what I would say as an "final" lecture. This really makes you evaluate your life and ask yourself: Am I really living?

Very powerful video. Can't believe he still had the will power to give a lecture in such high spirits despite his health conditions. What would I share with others if it were my last lecture? I am not sure how I would give that lecture nor what topic or subject to talk about. But a video like this would definitely get me working toward goals that I need to accomplish before I leave Earth.

I've actually viewed this lecture in a different class and it brought tears to my eyes. This man brings the idea to my head that we focus on things that don't really matter far too often. He is so encouraging in this video. I love how he did this speech for his kids, who are the most important part of his life.

Many times we think we have all the time in the world. But the fact is you never know. Lead your life in a way that leaves a legacy. I would only hope that I would feel the same way that he does if I was diagnosed with an illness like him.

I have actually seen this entire lecture and it really is something that everyone must see. There are so many things to be learned from his entire lecture, not just this small clip. In this clip he addresses the issue of brick walls. Brick walls are going to come up in your life constantly. Randy Paush points out that it depends on how bad you want those things behind that wall. How hard are you willing to work for them? Are you willing to climb the wall, or even break the wall to get what is behind it? Nothing in life is easy. No one wakes up one morning successful - they must work for it. But, if things were easy, if that brick wall didn't exist, would it be worth it? Would anything be worth achieving? We have to want it for ourselves. We are the only people who push ourselves the farthest.

I like how he's taking life and smiling at it even if things may not be going his way I respect that . But I also like the point he state about wait long enough and give everyone a chance. To many of us judge people just after the first word that comes out their mouth but if you want to really know someone take time out and spend it getting to know that person.

It amazes me how someone can be so full of life and they know their about to die. He inspires me to live life to the fullest and do what I can while I'm living. If I had to give what could possibly be my last lecture it'd be hard for me to keep it together. Awesome speech!

This video describes the thought many of us have, "What would your last words be?". I often contemplate if my last words would be light-hearted, or full of wisdom. The truth is, we should all strive for our last words to motivate others, to leave behind words of advice and inspiration. The fact that the speaker was aware of his upcoming death, but still spoke in such a positive view inspires me to be like him. It's a great way to live, until your very last moment. No one can do anything about the unexpected events of the future, so instead of being angry and full of hate, we should remain encouraging.
