Wow... this was a very moving video. The positive attitude this man has is inspiring. His reference to a brick wall was a great way to look at obstacles that come into our path. The people that overcome them are those who wanted to the most. They keep out people who really do not want to work hard or want something badly. His statement that dreams will come to you is very motivational. Being as though this was his last lecture, it makes me think even more that this is really true. If you want something badly enough you will work for it and you can reach your goal. This video really does put things in perspective.

I believe this is a very inspiring video and I agree with him. I believe that we should all take chances but also give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I believe that everything happens for a reason therefore, things will fall into place when they are suppose to. I love taking chances and I think everyone should do the same. I do think that as humans we worry too much about what we can't control such as the future and we should grasp life by the horns and just enjoy the ride.

This was pretty powerful. He makes some great points. What stuck out was when he said, let your kids paint on their walls in their room so let their creativity out, and do not worry about the resale value of your home. I wanted to paint on my walls as a kid but my parents would not let me, because they were worried about the resale value. If I would have been giving the opportunity to do so, maybe I would be a little more creative. I will let my kids do it.

Randy Pausch is a very positive and inspirational person. He did not let his illness get in the way of living his life. Everyone should live by his example because we do not know what lies ahead of us.

I am beginning to wonder what I would lecture on if I knew that it was my last act to influence a group of people. He is correct. We need to always be imaginative and be willing to continue pushing, even when it seems that life is strongly pushing back at us. Like he said, the brick walls are there to help us understand how badly we want something, and not to keep us from achieving that goal. When we want something bad enough, we will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. It is critical that we never give up on our dreams and never give up on leaving a positive legacy behind for others to follow. You never know when the day you are living could be your last.

What you would say before you die. This man is very zen during this lecture. I wonder if he had a breakdown prior to it and then entered clarity. This happens to a lot of people. Obviously this man has worked in some major fields though. Alice, NASA and Disney. These are all household names and he didn't just work for them he was a major player.

My favorite part of the whole video, and what I took from it, was the part where he said that brick walls aren't there to keep us out, they are there to keep the weak out. We need to prove that we want something so bad that we are going to knock the brick wall down to get it.

I watched this video my senior year of high school. It is something that has always stuck with me and also causes me to think of Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying". No day is promised to us and it is important to try our best to make a positive impact on this world. Many of us wont get the chance that Randy had, to leave something so moving that inspires so many people. This is why it is important to do it without being warned because honestly no one gets out alive.

Brick walls are there to keep the other people out. This phrase struck a chord with me, as it's an interesting concept. It does make sense that having the brick wall will keep the people that don't really want to be there out and the ones that do will find a way to overcome it. As far as my last lecture, I'd have to think about that. There's a lot of things I could talk about.

This is a great video that I need to remember to watch whenever I get stressed out. Naturally we sometimes get caught up in life and focus on things that we can't change. Worrying about these things doesn't matter because we don't have any control over it so it's a waste of time.

This was a good video, a little all over the place. If I had to present a lecture for the last time, i don't know what i would say.

I feel like a common theme among some of these videos is that if you want something badly enough, you will do it. My dad has never really thought that I would amount to much in my life and even told me after school that I should maybe get a job as a bank teller or something. Having him put me down like that just made me more motivated to prove him wrong. I am so close to having a job lined up after school (the only issue being if they have the resources to hire me at the moment) and I’m graduating with a 3.4. I never thought I’d be so close to my goals at the beginning of this semester and just knowing that I’m making myself more than what my dad expected me to be is a great feeling. Even if he never acknowledges it, in my heart I know I’m better because I followed my dreams. I feel like more people should use negativity as a motivator and I think that’s what the speaker is saying here.

Brick walls are there for the right people to knock them down and conquer them. A wall is only a challenge and can can be overcome for those who want it done. Also don't worry about the small things in life, they will work themselves out in the long run.

This is a really good video! We need to focus more on today, then the things we cannot control very well.

This video of him always gets me. Very inspiring that a person about to die and has so much life and is still dreaming. I love Dreaming and thinking of things that could happen. Then when it happens you are like how this was just a dream and not it is reality.
