This was a fitting video being the last one. The semester has flown by. This video serves as encouragement as I graduate and start a new chapter of my life. A lot of things have happened in the last few years. This video was great with different people mentioning both the good and bad times that are ahead. Regardless of what happens definitely proud to be an American and have the opportunity to chase the dream.

Links of the day are now of the past, obviously saving the strangest video for last. Of course Dr. Suess has the best advice of all. Thanks, Dr. Wyld, what a good call! Though this sure has been fun, I am happy to say I am finally done!

I absolutely loved this video!! I believe everyone should choose where they want to go, what they want to do, and the path they will travel. I think this was a powerful video and I found it very inspiring. The people in the video were very innovative and creative. I hope to be able to find my own path and follow it myself! I love to travel and I cant wait to see the PLACES I WILL GO!

Yay!! This video is very true and interesting. I cannot wait to get out into the “real” world. I will make sure to be careful in life, but to take chances when necessary. Glad to be done with these videos, even though they have been pretty interesting.

Dr. Seuss’s work is a creative way of sending a message. Even adults can appreciate his ways. Oh, the Places You’ll Go tells us to be ourselves and not worry about what others think. We should do what we love to do. We should take chances.

Well, that was interesting! Haha. I like the message that it portrays though. It is our life. It is our destiny. We are determiners of our own fate. There will be many times when we are riding the clouds, and there will be many times when we are falling in the slumps. However, it is our choice to move forward and press on, or be content with where we are and live a life of mediocrity and lack our highest creativity. Sometimes, we will be alone. However, it is in our most secluded moments that we find our greatest strengths. In all, be yourself, be who you are, and fulfill your highest potential, regardless of the voices and mountains around you.

I really enjoyed this video and I liked this telling of "Oh, the Places You'll Go." Growing up, my mom would always read this to me and when I was younger I always thought that it was just a cute, rhyming story for kids. But after watching this video at this point in my life, I realize that it's not written for kids, it's written for people of all ages in the world need a little pick me up when they are feeling down. Right now, I'm at the point in my life where I feel like I'm in a slump. I've applied for an endless amount of jobs and the ones that have called me back are not what I'm looking for. I feel as though I'll have a 4 year degree and end up being a waitress for the rest of my life. However, after watching this video, I feel a little bit better about myself. I'm just in a slump and (hopefully) soon I'll be where I'm headed.

Loved this video and it made the book that I read as a child make so much more sense! The book describes all the ups and downs that we will have during our journey to success. I liked how they made a skit out of this and you can tell that they had fun making it. This was a perfect video to watch before graduating.

This video was pretty cool. The places you will go. What I got out of this is to keep going and work for what you want. You will have obstacles in your way but push through. You will fail and get confused but you will overcome and get through it. Waiting around it always there, but you wait long enough, you will get what you want.

I’ve seen this book get given as a graduation gift to many graduates but I have never actually read it. It’s a simple children’s book but it really has a big lesson about life in it. As people we have so much potential to do whatever we can dream. It won’t always be easy and we will fall into slumps but we can’t let the slumps control us. At some points in school, I just felt like I wanted to give up. I would go lay down in bed and just wish that time would stop so I could have a break. But that’s the thing I realized during those moments; time isn’t going to wait for me like I wanted. Even if I feel like giving up, I look at the big picture of where I want to be and I know I need to keep going or my dreams and everyone else will just leave me behind. Thanks for all the great (and some not so great) videos this semester! I think I learned more than if you would’ve just lectured in front of the class.

Finally finished with the LINKS OF THE DAY! There couldn't be a better link to finish up than this one. You may go through difficult times in your life but you will overcome them and grow stronger as a person.

This video was the book Oh, the Places You'll Go. This book is actually a good way to live your life. Sometimes life is good, and sometimes life is hard. We need to make it through the hard times when we are in a bad place. Sometimes we come to a bad place where we are not sure what to do. There are bumps in the road that we need to work hard to get past. Sometimes we just have to wait. Waiting is hard, but sometimes you can make things happen. When you do that, you will find a positive part of you life. This will help you become successful. No matter what happens you will be able to make it through the hard times, and you can do whatever you set your mind to. This is a good thing to remember in business. The workplace can be really good at first, but then we can hit a bump in the road. When this happens, we need to persevere, and move past it. I really enjoyed this video, and I think it was a good way to finish the links of the day!
