I enjoyed this video. Being able to make a quick decision is important. When the environment changes and you are forced to make a change, you must be open and willing. Often managers are so set to sticking with their original plan just to say they are firm with it, but the good manager is the one who sees the change that needs to be made and goes for it.

In any business there will be situations where your decision may have to change. In any management role, there is a level of understanding that things will change in a split second depending on what the situation or issue may be, nothing is written in stone

Going through change as a company and a person can be very difficult for some. Some people don't handle change well and it takes time for them to adjust to the situation. If you are a manager you need to be open to change and go with the flow.

You need to be able to change your mind, if you are not able to change your mind your company could be hurt. As is explained in the video, nothing is ever set in stone and customers wants change, so you have to change ideas on products to satisfy the wants of cusotmers.

Be liquid. Have the ability to adapt and meet what ever challenges the new environment presents you with. The environment will always change. Can you change with it?

It is important to be flexible when it comes to business. Things are changing all the time and it is important to make sure you are able to adapt to those changes.

It is very important for a company to be able to adapt to change. Business environments are constantly changing and leaders need to be ready to make changes when needed. If a company isn't able to adapt to changes when they arise it could damage their company.

Well, I certainly agree with this video. Even the greatest leaders make mistakes and sometimes make the wrong decisions. A true leader is defined by admitting those mistakes and working to correct them with the best solutions. We are living in an ever changing environment, and one thing that worked years or even months ago, may not be as effective and relevant for a decision that needs to be made today. By continually watching your external environment and monitoring the changes that you face with your customers and competition, you can be more efficient and effective in the decisions that you have made or need to change and correct. Being willing to admit that you were wrong and being willing to change it, are the first steps in becoming a great leader.

I really agree with what he says in the video. One of the biggest rules I live by is that the best decision is the one you can get out of. I do believe it is important to make a decision and stick to it. At the same time, managers need to be able to change their ideas if the situation calls for it. A solid plan is important but make sure you leave room for flexibility in case an unexpected event occurs.

I love this video because it stresses that you need to adapt to change. I personally love change I think it is healthy and good for change, but only when it is necessary.

I totally agree. At times people make decisions and along the road they may realize it was not the correct one to make. Instead of admitting their error they will continue to push through with the project or decision. This can cost lots of wasted money and/or time because of the pride or ego the individual may have. Many companies fail because they refuse to adopt a new business model when they see that the current one is no longer appropriate. willingness to change is very important but many people are not willing to do so.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change are keep in succeeding in today's business world. It used to be that if you made a decision you had to follow through with it despite if it was good or bad. Now, managers and leaders are thinking quickly and making changes as they see fit for the company.

It's good to know that not just your average employee but also managers second guess themselves. if you then realize that maybe it was a bad choice then line up changes within your company. Business men and women must be flexible and able to change their minds based on the situation. Although you may have a great idea, it may not be good for another situation and since the circumstances change so quickly in the world of business, business people must be able to keep up with the changes and the key is being flexible, and accept changes if at all you need to think on their feet. I love the 30 second MBA's. They are so straight to the point.

Business leaders have to be flexible, and this can lead to a change in mind. If the facts and environment change, the managers should be willing and able to make changes as well. I can use this in my career because things will be changing every day. I will have to listen to clients and coworkers to see what changes are happening in the environment, and in turn I will have to make changes of my own.

I completely agree. Everything, at some point in time, will change, either for the good or the bad. Leaders must always be willing to keep an open mind and their ear to the ground. If something that use to work doesn’t work anymore, it is the leaders responsibility to think of ways to change this. Leaders should also be willing to take a look at their normal solutions to problems and ask themselves if that solution has run its course, and is it time to think of something else. Good leaders keep up with the times and try to solve problems the best way they can be solved, for that particular situation.
