In the video, she says, "We build relationships by making the customer feel valued." I think building relationships with customers is very important. While it is easier in smaller businesses like the boutique in the video to send cards and make phone calls, I think even large corporations can benefit from relationship marketing as well by having client representatives who check in from time to time. Making a customer feel like you notice them and care about how your product or service is impacting them will in turn, make an impact on them and keep them loyal to your business.

More marketing does not always mean ones marketing is better. Instead, focusing on creating a relationship with customers is a better way of marketing. Customers who feel like the places they shop at care about what is going on their lives are much more likely to return. Not only will they return, they will also refer their family and friends to that business.

Customers are the greatest asset of a company, after all they are one who generate revenue and keep the business going. It is extremely important to have a good, lasting relationship with your customers. It is often said that twenty percent of your existing customers bring eigthy percent of your revenue. Therefore, existing customers are of great value to the business. As mentioned in the video, more marketing definitely doesnt mean better marketing. Giving the customer best value for the money they spend and treating them right will yield better business for a long period of time.

TITLE - The Spot: Build a relationship with your customers
Customers are very important in every business, of course without them there is not business. The video, talks about the developing personal relationship with your customer which still remain the most important. In business and relationship, i believe it is a human nature people like being valued. A thank you note can mean a lot. The take away from this video is that we need to appreciate others and let they know how much we valued them.

TITLE - Tim Ferriss, Author of The 4-Hour Workweek | Smarta video interview
A company's most important customers are the loyal customers that return over and over again to purchase products and/or services. Therefore, these are the customers that you need to focus on and take care of. There are little ways to do this that really mean a lot to the customer. For instance, send a letter or card out for their birthday or other special events, you should also make sure you know them by name and get to know them. It can mean a lot to them when you ask about their family or how their week/weekend has been. It is the little things that count. I like how the video says sometimes better advertising or marketing does not mean spending more. You can advertise better just by being more personal to your customers.

Relationship marketing is incredibly important and particularly so for small businesses because it creates a personal touch. Relationships create a loyal customer because they feel like they are almost a part of the business and they are valued. Doing small things like sending flowers and making phone calls makes a huge impact in how customers view your business.

I really loved this video, especially since I currently work at a boutique. She gave useful advice that I will definitely take away with me. She said relationship marketing is the best and most important tool. She tried marketing through magazines, newspapers, and social media, but the tool that has made her most successful is the use of relationship marketing. It has to be genuine and come from the heart. Personal touch is what customers want. Making customers feel valued and keeping them in that feeling is what will keep them coming back. She said it's the sweet phone calls you make to them, sending birthday cards, and even flowers will help make them feel special. If you recognize what's currently important to them in their lives, it will make them your best customers yet.

Having a relationship with your customers is very important. If you have a relationship with them, you know they are coming back. Your customers can help your business grow. Know you customers' demand, and always let them know you value them.

TITLE - The Spot: Build a relationship with your customers
Customers are people just like you so building a relationship with them are important. Even if its not a commited relationship as long as your reaching out to the customers and trying to understand there personal life if they bring it up and trying to understand the customer outside of just business, by sending a business card or gift card, people like to feel special and by doing that they can. Each day a customer walks into your store try to greet them and give them a handshake and remember there name this is also important in business.

The video from The Spot emphasizes on building customer relationships. A very important focus of business is the personal relationship that you establish between the customer and yourself. Your customer wants to feel appreciated and not just treated like another person or thing coming in out of your business. I can totally agree with this video after witnessing how customers respond when you can identify them by name and actually hold a conversation with them.

TITLE - The Spot: Build a relationship with your customers Customer loyalty in an important part of customer service and helps build customer relationships. Developing a relationship with a customer helps the business because most likely the customer will come back. When a customer walks in to your restaurant and you remember there order and there name then the next time they walk in you have there order ready and greet them with there name. Its more likely that customer will come back your restaurant regardless if your food was good or not.

TITLE - The Spot: Build a relationship with your customers
I really agree with this complete video. I always thought that customer service and customer relations are your best type of marketing. Once you build relationships with customers they then go and tell their friends and family who then come in to see for themselves. Which in turn, they end up going out and telling others about their experience too. This sort of marketing is truthful. In my opinion, I trust my friends and family telling me their favorite stores rather than seeing a television advertisement about some store claiming to be something they are or something their not. These relationships make for a trusting customer database that you know will stick to you till your end of business.
