5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
This video was VERY interesting. After watching it I have to agree with it. The 5 stats about entrepreneurs seem pretty accurate when I think about some of the most successful people in the world. However, the one stat that I was surprised most about was the number of entrepreneurs in Oklahoma and Montana.

5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
I found this video funny because it was all true! Something interesting that she mentions is the last trait which states that English is usually their second language. Knowing a different language can help one in many ways for the business world beyond imaginable! I know Spanish fluently which has helped me in the past to get a job for being bilingual.

5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
I found three out of five of these traits quite surprising. For instance, I didn't realize most entrepreneurs are older, non-American natives who live in the Midwest. I do believe that many of them are probably psychopaths with ADHD. These personality types seem to fit those of many famous entrepreneurs and is in sync with the way many entrepreneurs behave. My stepfather, a quite older gentleman, has an entrepreneurial spirit. He is always coming up with new ideas for a new business venture that he pulls my mother into. They have been married 11 years, and in those years, they have started (or attempted to start) businesses that make toothbrush holders, that sell women's jewelry and accessories, that sell homemade strawberry and satsuma wine, that find people's unclaimed money and then gets it to them, that films and markets dog workout videos, and that sells handmade flower pens. Did I mention he is over 70, is from Jonesboro and now lives in Killian (middle of nowhere), and in my opinion a psychopath?

I don't quite agree with this video because you don't have to be a psychopath, ADHD, or live within a small town to be an entrepreneur. I do agree with the foreigners and language trait. I think those who speak Fluent English particularly Americans have more privileged lifestyles that the work ethic lacks compared to other countries. I want to be an entrepreneur and I don't think I fit into either 5 of these categories.

I would agree that many successful people tend to be older. Being successful takes a lot of time and trials and errors. Therefore, it only makes sense that it take a good amount of time to become very successful. I think that your past and where you come from does have a little bit of an influence of where you'll end up. The way I see it, your family raise you a certain way, and that has a big impact on your attitude and your drive.i agree with some points of the video but all points are not completely accurate

TITLE - 5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
This article doesn't deliver much helpful information. It is discouraging to hear the traits of entrepreneurs. The 1st trait most entrepreneurs have are being psychopaths. They are more likely to behave unethically in order to climb the ladder or get what they want. Secondly, ADHD is a trait that many entrepreneurs have in common. They probably have shorter attention spans and get bored easily, so they created their business to keep them on the edge. Also, entrepreneurs usually live in the middle of nowhere. For this reason, I don't understand. Entrepreneurs are also usually old, between the age group of 55-64. Lastly, English is the second language that entrepreneurs speak. Most CEO's and top managers were born abroad. I don't possess many of theses traits but who's to say I may not break the trend of these entrepreneurial traits.

TITLE - 5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
Not everyone has the traits needed to be an entrepreneur. There are specific traits that must be present and the video hits on these traits. It can be hard to be an entrepreneur. I can say for myself, I am no entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs have to think outside the box. They have to be willing to gamble and put everything on the line in order to make their ideas become reality. I would never be able to do something that calls for me to be an entrepreneur.

5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
Interesting video. Entrepreneurs tend to be of older age. I think this is true, but this is only true because they also hold the most money. A 20-30 year old will not be an entrepreneur most likely because funding issues, but I think if money was not an issue, we would see a lot more young entrepreneurs . All the young persons now will be stuck in the corporate world. I also think the video is correct that saying most immigrants are self employed. Immigrants want to invest and have a quick return.

Long story short, to start your own business you must be able to do whatever it takes to keep your business striving. The people who seem weird and not the "common" guy or gal tend to be the people who are creative. These people usually arent socially connected and have no problem separating business from pleasure.

TITLE - 5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
In this video you are shown some characteristics of successful entrepreneurs. When I read my book during this semester, Think and Grow Rich, they shared some of the same traits with me. I agree with these traits in order to be a successful entrepreneur. My dad owns his own company and he is the complete opposite of all of these characteristics. He is successful at what he does, but I do believe he could go out of his box if he just had a few of these traits. He's very OCD and likes everything perfect. He continues a job until it is finished which means he is unlikely to have ADHD. He sometimes is scared to take too high of risky chances because in order to do so he could lose everything too, in which he has a big family to support. Some of the richest people in the world have went bankrupt at least once, but once they built back up they became richer than they ever thought of being.

This video was kind of cool, I enjoyed hearing the statistics of where and how entrepreneurs got their start. It is astonishing to me that most CEOs are from out of the country and that most of them are in their 60s. When you think of business and being a big wig in a fancy office, we always think of someone living in New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles, but who would have thought that most entrepreneurs came from Oklahoma or Montana, or at least they have the highest rate of entrepreneurs. This video surprised me with the information they presented, which only inferred that, if you have an idea, it doesn't matter where you are born or raised, it only matters what you do with that idea and how far you will go.

Anyone can be classified as psychopathic these days. However, I can understand why someone would be considered that as an entrepreneur because with a small business you may never understand all that a person has to deal with especially financially to make their company grow. I think this video was very random, with no real logic of how entrepreneurs behave, or their personality traits. The only common theme I can suggest is the will to be independent and enjoy being successful from their own efforts.
