Title: The Art of Career Development
I believe that it is import to choose a career that you feel is important and that you enjoy. This will ensure that you will be successful in whatever you choose to do. I think that you must be innovative also with your career. When someone is developing new ideas that no one has ever thought of before if these ideas are well thought out and there is a niche for it then the person developing the idea will surely be successful.

The Art of Career Development
This was an interesting video. It gives three steps to career development: Growing expertise, have meaning, be courageous, and having connections. Each of these are very accurate. You must become an expertise in your field in order to be respected. You must also give meaning to what you do. You must be courageous and not worry about failure. And lastly, connect with people to help you learn and grow.

The Art of Career Development
I agree with every point made in this video! Finding work that feeds you passion and allows you to express yourself to serve a broader cause; this is what employees will value. Employees need to know their purpose as a way of motivation. Another point made is that they need to translate why what they do matters. A career truly needs to have purpose and the way that art is incorporated could not be more true; it should be a masterpiece.

The Art of Career Development
First, you need to build your career by the things you are passionate about. if you don't develop passion for your career then you will have some difficulties or you will be straggling. Second, you need to prove that your work matters, that you are serious with your career. Third, you need to be courageous to sell your skills and lastly, which i think is the most important in today workplace is to reach out to other, friend, co worker etc basically making connections and building relationship with others.

In career management you must ask yourself what you are good at. Think of your career as if you are an artist. You must have skill but skills alone will not be enough. Also ask yourself if what you do maters.

The Art of Career Development
I like how Petriglieri compares career development in business to that of an artist. I can relate to the questions he poses in the beginning of the video, 'How I am important in my job?', 'Is this career really right for me?', 'How can I enjoy what I do?'. Petriglieri points out that is is important to create meaning in your. Don't just do a job, but become an expert; build expertise in your tasks, projects, and how you work with people. Being able to know and show the importance of what you do and how you do your job. He also says it is importance to bring courage to your work. Don't be afraid to take risks to accomplish goals. Just like artists, create a space to teach, inspire, and encourage your work team. Lastly, he stresses that your should bring what you do at work at in your organizations closer to who you are. Create an identity work space that illustrates your work persona the same as your home persona. Doing this will make your work a productive part of who you are.

This video seeks to encourage career development. The speaker compares it to art. You have to know what you want, gain the tools and knowledge, seek support, put yourself out there, have open lines of community help, and be who you are. In order to be good at what you do, you have to consistently make provisions along the way.

First, you need to build your career by the things you are passionate about. if you don't develop passion for your career then you will have some difficulties or you will be straggling.People struggle everyday about what they want to do with the rest of their lives and what their purpose is in life. It is important for these people to choose something that they are passionate about. This helps people become more successful because it is easier to do something you love everyday than something you do not really care about. Also, being able to have the skills for your profession is important, however you should also be able to express these skills to others and use them to encourage others so that they are passionate about your job as well. Also, being able to put yourself out there to create a business and/or product or service takes a lot of courage.

TITLE - The Art of Career Development
This article gives advice on how to develop a career path. It is wise to choose and build a foundation based on expertise. Don't go into business with an idea or concept you don't have much experience with. It is important to let consumers know why your business or art of career is meaningful and why they should do business with you. If consumers see passion and expertise, they will feel comfortable and confident doing business with you. Building a connection with your work and consumers is the most important part. If there isn't a personal connection between you and your work, it will become less meaningful and pointless.

The Art of Career Development
This video was a good one when explaining how to develop a career. There is no way in the world you can know everything, but I do believer that individuals should find something they are good at and become an expert at it. It is important to know what you are suppose to be doing day in and day out and when you become extremely good at your job, you will succeed. I also thought meaning and courage were important parts in developing a career.

The Art of Career Development
Great informational video. I agree careers are like work of arts. You have to show why what you do matter. Like an artist you need to show your work of art and what do their work teaches or inspires. You also do not need to be scared to show your work, you need to have courage. But also as a manager you need to encourage people to do this, to show them how can they grow and express themselves successfully.

Many always say if your're in it for the wrong reason it usually wont work out you like you think. You must enjoy what you are doing and make it your day to day craft to protect and build upon it. The more energy you put into your craft the better it will get ultimately giving you what you thought you needed. Yes its a competitive world but don't be afraid to communicate with like minds to help you advance not in the job but mentally in your craft.

This was an interesting take on career development. He makes a comparison to think of a career like an artist. He begins by saying you must have skills and expertise in your profession. With this expertise, you must then prove to others that your work matters. In order to do this, you must have courage to get other peoples criticism. Towards the end of the video, the speake talks about connecting to the community or your organization with your work so you can have their support. I think these steps can be applied to any career, but especially to entrepreneurs.
