I love these 30 second videos. Of course finding a person in a company that can find and solve problems would be an asset. This is of value to any company. Companies that do this last a long time.

The people that you choose to nurture can bring any company a long way. How do we pick who to nurture? According to the video, we want to pick leaders. People who are willing to figure out a solution and bring people with them to fix that solution. This can happen in a multitude of way. Keeping a keen eye out for the people in your company who have a natural way of fixing problems using coworkers is the best thing you can do for your company.

30 second MBA is too short of a time frame for some of the topics they try to cover. I agree that the best employees to nurture are the ones who can identify and solve problems, but I wish they would have gone a little more in depth.

The most important factor for employees to learn from this video is to identify the problem and identify the solution to the problem. Having these skills can help an employee excel and be successful in the business. I believe everyone should be able to have their own constructive criticism, no one is perfect and we will all eventually make mistakes. You want employees that can identify their problems and fix them and not make excuses.

I agree that the people who can find AND solve problems while bringing people together instead of dividing them are the best employees to have. These people are the ones you want to nature into valuable assets for your company.

In the workplace, people need to communicate problems, not just take it upon themselves to try and be the big hero. Sometimes that works but when it doesn't, it can mean termination.

Having people that can solve problems on their own is very necessary for a successful business. These types of people save ones company time and money. Think about it if your a manager should you be doing other peoples work all of the time?
