INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
Believing in your dreams is a key thing. People tend to criticize and bring you down, but you should never stop. As the article mentions if people think you're a sellout, its because they have heard about you or your product. As long as you are following your dream, I think you will never be a sellout.

Hawk really knows what he's talking about. When I was a manager at McDonald's and decided to start teaching, I heard everything from it's too stressful to those kids are going to eat you alive. People that thought they couldn't ever leave McDonald's had nothing but negative comments because they were threatened. All you can do is keep your head up and keep trucking. There will always be negative people around who are quick to call you a sellout when you become successful. Once you realize this and learn to ignore their negativity, there's no place to go but up.

Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
If you are selling out, means you are doing something right. Hawk makes a good point. He was able to sell his video game like no other skateboarder ever had before and therefore he started to be popular with the younger generation. He saw a great opportunity by creating that video game and he succeeded. Since there has been very few people in his industry that have achieved the same success. The people that call Tony Hawk a sell out, they are doing it because they are jealous. If they were in Tony Hawk's shoes they would not call themselves sell outs.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
The only critics that you need to listen to in the business world are yourself, your employees, and your customers. Do not take the negative opinions of your peers if they are just being negative because you are successful. Most of the time they are putting you down because they can't do it themselves. Never let anything like that get in the way of accomplishing your dreams. Its your money and your time that you are putting into this and if somebody isn't contributing any effort in helping your business operate and succeed, they are in no position to offer their opinions in the first place. From a business aspect, being a sellout is the best thing to be because it means you are successful and people want to spend money on your product or service.

"You need to sell out without selling out"
In business, you want to be a sellout. It means that your product is more successful than your competitors. My opinion about the phrase "sellout" is that people or businesses are just jealous of others' success. However, I will use that phrase when it is warranted. For example, I know a few bands that I will classify as sellouts. They started their career insulting others for being sellouts. Then when they became more popular, they starting to do all the things that they where singing against.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
Tony Hawk mentions that people are going to have negative things to say about you when you have success in areas they had not predicted. The term "sell-out" is often thrown around when this sort of thing happens. The important thing to do is to ignore that stuff and just do what you love. When I want to achieve something, I ignore my doubters and stay head strong.

Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
In order to get the things in this world one does not have to sell out. People can do things without having to worry about what other people think. If one feels like doing something then they can do it as long as it does not harm others. This article say that Hawk did not let others dictate what he felt and he did what he felt was right at the end of the day. This can help one by letting them know that if you do sell out its not bad just do what is right and what is good to others.

Tony Hawk makes a good point about not worrying about what other think and keep moving forward. Becoming successful has its ups and downs. When you have lots of money its hard to trust the same people you knew when you where broke. Money can change people in many ways.

Skateboarder Tony Hawk says, "People don't call you a sellout until your stuff finally sells." I don't really understand what Tony Hawk is trying to say therefor I can't agree nor disagree with him

You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
i feel this article was saying that it doesn't matter what you do, if you are passionate about whatever you do, go for it. He fact that Tony Hawk used a video game as a strategy, is not something to be looked down upon. It just shows he is proud of what he does. No matter how small something may seem to us, if you go whole heartily, it will be known and successful.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
When one person succeeds, other people feel like failures. This causes anxiety and jealousy among others which gives rise to accusations. That is the core of what happened to Tony Hawk. He succeeded in an area that others did not, so they called him a sell out. This happens everyday to people everywhere. A student does well in a class and others accuse him of being "the teacher's pet," or a girl starts to date a nice looking guy and she is called a slut. People must realize success comes with many pressures, one being the inability to please everyone. The trick is not to let the voices coming from below keep you from rising to the top.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out Honestly in todays society you know you are doing well when people start to basically hate on what you are trying to accomplish that a good sign in my eyes when you start to see and hear of people like that but like the article stated never pay any attention to it and keep doing what you believe in.

I think a lot of the backlash about becoming a "sellout" comes from jealousy of success. In Tony Hawk's case, if he didn't succeed, he might get a pat on the back and a "Nice try!" but, because he was successful, there are people who are going to put him down because they didn't think of it first. If following your dreams and getting to do what you love makes you a sellout, then it doesn't seem to be that bad of a label.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
When people become well-known for their success in a particular industry or product, instant backlash from media and society can occur. Tony Hawk explains his experience with his success of his video game and how he was considered a "sell-out" because he was gaining too much popularity and success from just being a 'skateboarder'. Hawk reminds us that it is crucial to stay focused on your goals and do what you want to do. He says that if people call you a sell-out, "..it's because you're now someone they've heard of." Staying true to yourself is the key. You want to sell out of your product without being a "sell-out".

In the business world as well as the real world, every person will always have some sory of critic. I think that the more successful you are, the more you get. It can be hard to believe in yourself and your dreams if someone is always trying to bring you down and tell you what you believe in can't work or isn't for the right reason, but in the long run it is important to stick with your gut and follow your dreams.
