Whether you’re in school, work for a company, or ride a bike in New York delivering packages, it is important to stay focused on the tasks that need to be done as well as manage your time. Being flexible is helpful as well when things get chaotic. People will be successful if they live by these qualities.

This video made me want to see the movie now. That would be a scary job to me. But it's true, that even though her job is very different from a traditional office space sort of job, the tasks are still the same. You have to remain calm, focused, meet deadlines, manage your time efficiently, etc.

This video was interesting by the way that two completely different jobs are compared to have the same mindset. The three elements that are expressed in this video are staying focused, managing time, and flexibility. I agree that these three elements are extremely important in any job. Staying focused makes a job get completed and completed the best way possible. Managing time could also be part of staying focused but it is also important on its own so everything gets completed at the right time. Flexibility is a very important factor, not everything works the way it's planned out to so being able to go with the flow is great in any type of job. The lady in this video explains that staying calm is important in all of these elements especially under stress and I can't agree more, stress leaves room for mistakes and can lead to bigger problems.

I don't quite understand exactly what the business model is with the messengers, but she made some good points, especially about being calm and focused on the tasks at hand. We can sometimes get so rushed and stressed out, that we start making simple mistakes, and in this case, we could be killed. If we take each obstacle as it comes and maintain our composure and take it one step at a time, we can overcome any obstacle that we face. It is also important to be flexible with your time and with everything you do at work. You never know what obstacles may creep up during the day, and it is important that you maintain a sense of flexibility when presented with new challenges.

While an office job may not be as exciting as being a bike messenger, the speaker still had some valuable tips for the office. By staying focused, managing your time correctly, and being flexible on the job, you can finish your tasks quickly and efficiently. It may not be a matter of life or death for most of us, but making the right decision in a limited time frame could make our break us in the real world. Definitely some useful tips to remember.

Kym offers great advice. The tip that I personally struggle with the most is being flexible. I like to wake up every morning and plan out from whole day, hour by hour. So when things come up they often throw me for a loop and mess up my whole schedule. I need to learn to be more flexible and realize that I need to re-evaluate my schedule when things come up. I can take the tasks that I thought were important that can wait until tomorrow and move them, leaving me more time to focus on what tasks I really need to get accomplished today.

I like the advice on the breath and stay calm so you do not mess anything else up. I know that when I get upset everything else suffers too. Managing being pulled in 50 different directions can be overwhelming. But being flexable is good advice in that situation.

This was an interesting video. It offered good advice. Staying calm and being aware of the big picture and then refocusing on your task is wise. Too often we get overwhelmed and make poor decisions. These decisions can cost us our jobs. It is important to stay calm and focus. Doing so will undoubtedly result in higher performance than worrying while working.

This video was very informative on how you need to stay calm during a stressful moment in order to make sound decisions. If you let your emotions take over and not think things through it could turn out to be destructive. When in a management role, you must be able to handle different types of situations in a professional manner.

I really liked how she took what she does everyday and put it into the mindset of a business owner. Being focused, managing time, and being flexible are the most important things when it comes to working. You can't always do the same thing throughout the day or as you have it planned because unexpected things arise that, sometimes, need immediate attention.

This video exaplins many things. To be able to be a bike messenger, you have to be able to make split second decisons. As a manager, the same task is given to you. You have to be the one to make the decisions, or the company could fail, or clients could be lost. In the video she talked about how it may be the end of her shift, but she may have more packages to deliver, so she continues until she is done or she would be fired. That shows diligence and commitment, which every manager should show!

This video was quite surprising. I didn't know bike messengers were even still used today or that they could be compared to the office world today. The speaker's tip made complete sense. It is very important to stay aware of your surroundings while also staying focused with the job at hand. Second, the job at hand has to get done, no matter what! If the job doesn't get done, your job could be on the line. Lastly, be flexible is probably one of the most important characteristics to have in today's world!

In order to manage chaos, people should do what they can to stay calm. They should stay focused on what is needed to get done. They should manage their time, and get things done on time. They should also be flexible. Remaining calm is also key in being successful in any situation.
