no one in life has all the answers and it is ok not to know sometimes in life. When we don't know the answers to certain I believe it is very important and vital to seek the guidance and council of others who are more experienced and knowledgeable in a certain criteria. There is no such thing as a dumb question and I believe it is best to ask when in doubt.

CEO defined answer on what you should do when you don't know what to do I know that sometimes I might have a good idea but when I'm on a team with other people the idea can expand and become something that I may not have thought of and it could lead to a great solution.

Lane Bess: What do you do when you don't know what to do?
Bess discusses the importance of surrounding one's self with a positive and an informative team in order to accomplish unknown tasks. This reminded me about the saying "every man I meet is somehow superior to myself, and in that way I learn from him". It is important to not always have a bias that one person is superior or will always have an answer, and it is vital to have a person or two to give you a perspective on things.

No one person has all the answers to all situations. So I feel that it is very important to ask questions. Asking a variety of questions to a variety of people is a great way to get a variety of insight where you can then evaluate and choose the best solution to a particular situation.

There is not one single person in this world who has all of the answers. Asking questions is a great way to obtain more information. At my job, if I don't have the answer I am always willing to ask for help. It's better to ask than to pretend that you know and fail.

You don't have know everything. As a manager, leader, or just a person we sometimes feel like we need to have all the answers. The truth is that you don't. When you dont know what to do, ask someone else.

The idea I withdrew from this video is crowdsourcing and brainstorming, which means the practice of obtaining needed services, ideas, or content by soliciting contributions from a large group of people. One individual can't have answers to everything, as everyone has different life path and knowledge background. Employees are the most important asset to any business, because they carry ideas. When they get together as a team working on the same project, they can cream miracle.

I agree with this video, when you have no clue on what to do in a situation, ask questions. If you are in the position to have people that work with or around you, then ask them, brainstorm with the group of people there and see what you come up with. If that doesn't work, I think history will definitely help with coming up with solutions to problems. I'm sure some business somewhere at some point in the past ran into similar or the same problems that current business go through today, furthermore, the use of the internet gives you answers at the click of a mouse. Being able to use these two tools should give a business and the people who work for it an edge to solve the problem.

It's always important to realize when you don't have a strength in something. I believe that the step to admittance can be just as hard as finding out how to solve the problem. Once we have identified the problem it is important to find out if we have any colleagues or co workers even employees that are able to assist in finding a solution. Two heads are always better then one so seeking help is something I would highly suggest also in the video he stated sometimes looking at competitors and I think it is good when you can learn from the mistakes and or success of others.

When you don't know the answer form a team and ask questions to others at work or higher up employees. Sometimes we do not know the answers and we want to know what they are. He gave examples on how CEO's sometimes do not know what to do and they form teams or ask others in the industry. I find this to be very helpful and life, when you do not know ask someone else.

A great leader should realize when they do not know the answer to the problem that is facing them. One of the greatest things that a person can do is to know when to admit defeat and accept the help of those around them. By getting their teams together, people can do research together on the companies problems and find a way that to solve the problem. This is especially important for large businesses that look to only one CEO. That one CEO can not run that entire business by themselves. The only way for them to effectively run their business is by listening to input from the teams put in place around them and to admit when they need to utilize these teams.

n the workplace its okay not to know because nobody is perfect and has all the answers. He basically saying in this video that when you dont know try to get a team together and try to get an answer as soon as possible. You might not know as a manager but I bet you someone else working around you external might know the answer. As a person you are not going to know every question and that's okay.

Just like the previous video, leaders are changing and they don't always know the answer. It is important that when you do not know the answer and how to handle it. You should be able to look to other people for advice and come up with a solution.

When we enter the workforce, there is more on the line when making decisions about something we do not know as opposed to guessing on a test question back in high school. The repercussions maybe greater than we anticipated, either positive or negative. By admitting when we do not know something, we avoid making a rash decision. Getting the team together or brainstorming with a group bounces new ideas or broadens on pre-existing ideas about topics that could be improved or that we knew nothing of in the first place. Making it to the position of CEO doesn't mean you know everything, use the resources of different minds and knowledges to discover more. It can be a powerful tool in making an important decision.

This video reminded that even high level executives such as CEOs some times are at a loss for what to do. They have advisors to assist them with making decisions. This concept made me feel better about not always knowing what to do. I am proud that I can admit that when it's necessary and simply decide not to decode yet.
