this video was very good. Short and to the point. Also, it does really make you think about something so simple that is really good. Asking someone "what do you think?" By asking someone this, it does make someone feel like they are important enough for you to want to know their opinion!

This is thus far one of my favorite videos from him. Thank you for posting this one. It is a very powerful phrase and I have a better understanding and more appreciation for it now. "What do you think?" does in fact add value to the person you are talking to and it does show them that they do have a thought and or opinion that matters. I will incorporate this not just in business, but with my personal life as well.

Asking people what you think gives them a chance to speak and understand them as a person. Every customer, employee a chance to understand how they handle situations.

If I heard the words "What do you think?" come out of my managers mouth, I might just fall over dead. My manager treats his employees as replaceable individuals and very rarely asks us what we think or how we feel about certain tasks. I agree with the video that this would be one phrase to make an employee feel valued and cared for in the company. I wish more managers would watch this video so that they realize that companies are made up and operated by the lower level employees and not just by upper management or the CEO. Lower level employees are also much more familiar with day to day policies and problems or loopholes in procedures that need to be fixed. By asking employees about these procedures, managers may be able to make changes to the procedures for the betterment of the company.

Saying to simple phrase "What do you think?" can change everything. By asking this question you are telling the other person you value their opinion and would like to know what they think. He says in the video that he thinks this phrase could be more important then programs etc. that empower employees. When you ask someone their opinion, they feel valued.

When asking "What do you think", enables you to get opinions from others. Listening to their opinions shows that you value their opinions and makes people feel as if they are important. Obtaining many different opinions leads to differentiating one idea and can be beneficial to a company.

The four most important words for leadership are "What do you think?" This includes other people and allows other workers to have an opinion. Keeping your workers included in any decisions that you make will help them feel like a person.

I agree that asking someone what they think will make them feel valued. Repeatedly inquiring about other people's opinions will cause those people to become more and more vest4ed in the operations and outcomes of the company. This will lead to an increase not only in morale, but productivity and maybe even profit as well.

Love this video! It teaches us to not only think about ourselves and how we feel. By asking someone "what do you think?" it allows them to have an opinion. It make the other person feel welcomed and feel that their opinion matters. I will definitely use this when managing my employees.

This video was kind of eye opening talking about the 4 most important words. "What do you think?" has a lot of meaning especially in the business world because it shows the person that you are talking to that you care about their opinion and thoughts. It also shows them that you care abotu their value as a person.

This is a very true statement. Just by asking "what do you think?" employees can feel very empowered and motivated to do their work. By asking their opinion, it tells them that you care what they think and value their knowledge.

This video makes a very valid point in a very simple way. People love to feel like they matter and like their opinion matters to someone. People like to feel validated. Asking people what they think plays in to a person's emotional side. It creates a sense of solidarity.

This guy is all about hearing what his employees or other mangers think. And it makes sense that his favorite words are what do you think. I think that it's important. Getting feedback from other people is often important because people often see in a straight path.
