This makes sense. Certainly businesses need to change. If they fail to, they will fail. Striving not only to meet the current demands but also to prepare for the demands consumers will have in the future is a challenging task. Changing with the times is the only way to survive and it all starts with noticing the seemingly minute change taking place. By routinely changing and preparing for the future companies can increase the chance they will have a place in that future market.

I really did amazon. I use it all of the time in lu of real shoping. Why because i can sit in my underwear doing in and the only sales people i have to deal with are the advertisements. So i like them and their business model. I haven't used them since the beginning so i am not sure about the changes he is talking about. Its weird that in the effort to talk about inventing things he show a picture of himself staring at dry ice. I guess hes trying to look scientific.

The messages of the videos are now starting to become repetitive. However constant change and innovation is needed to stay relevant. No matter how much that is know there are still many business that operate the same as they did ten years ago. Everyone doesn't seem to get the message until their business in on the edge of its own demise. Also I think to evolve as business has to become natural for business, and with more entrepreneurial management coming up business will get to that point.

I thought that this video was interesting. If you can't repeatedly fail, then you will not be able to invent or expand. You should listen to your customers, but also invent on their behalf. First you should figure out what you are good at, then look at the customers needs to give them what they need. This is necessary in all businesses, not just Amazon. Businesspeople should be willing to change and evolve to give people what they need.

Not evolving will not ever be successful. Take for example Walmart and businesses going international. Businesses have to evolve in order to compete with one another. In this example business must either go international to compete with Walmart, or come up with a better business strategy. In either scenario the business is required to evolve and change in order to compete and have to opportunity to be successful.

I enjoyed and took some insight away from the message, but missed having a true video. The lecture was very informative and I especially love the phrase, "What's dangerous is not to evolve" and I also liked "It's not the customers job to invent". It was interesting to hear how Amazon has expanded into more than just a "shopping place" or Market place, but how it has to hire outside of just marketing and sales to retailers onto programming and more.

Evolving is important in every aspect of a person’s life but most important in the business aspect in my opinion. In order to succeed in a business, it has to evolve. A business has to keep up with the times and it’s important to apply new changes to your business to keep your customers and to attract new ones. You can’t be afraid to fail or afraid of change when you own a business because those are two things that can drastically affect the success of your business.

I agree with the message in this video. For a manager not to evolve or try to adapt to changing conditions in the environment is kind of ridiculous and counterintuitive. It serves no purpose to be that stubborn.

its huge to keep yourself in an environment that will allow you to develop. its huge to be able to think ahead of what a customer will want. one of the biggest things we can do in the business world is to stay a step a head of the trends. ie be the trend setters

Jeff Bezos - "What's dangerous is not to evolve"
Evolving in a business aspect is important, but evolving as individuals is most important. A company cannot evolve if their workers do not evolve with them. Evolution requires dedication and commitment which will only come from those individuals who have grown to accept the changes and make the best out of what is to come for the future.

Often we have deaf ears to teacher or those around us however when you here it from someone like this it makes you take into account all the other advice, you realize its not just a textbook analogy its real life.

I agree with the speaker I think that it is very important to continue to evolve and change in business. The world around us is constantly changing, people are becoming more fast paced and if you as a business are not keeping up with that change then you will surely fall behind. In today's world if you are not finding new ways to evolve then you get lost in the shuffle.

We live in an ever changing world, one where trends come and go almost daily. If we can not evolve as organizations or on a individual personal level then we will be left behind in the dust by those who can and are willing to. If companies cannot change their products fast enough to keep up with their customers wants and demands, they will be thrown to the side and left to die unless they can revive themselves with something better.

life is a constant evolution changing from one degree to the next degree. In life we go through stages of growth and as we go through stages of growth our body develop and forms through each stage. Well in the business world evolution is constantly changing and as things are changes business have to keep with the pace because consumers are expecting businesses that can serve there needs in this constant change. Think about it technology is dominating the world and business need employees who are technology enhanced and can embrace this change to enhance the growth of the business and to better serve the needs of consumers in these time and era as the world is becoming a revolution of change and enhancement in fields of education and business matters.
