This article makes a great point! You don't want to give your audience too much data information within your presentation- otherwise they may loose interest. Giving them some data in the presentation is a good way to gain their trust but too much information will cause them to think that there is little to no creativity in your presentation. Having an even amount of creativity and data can gain an audiences' attention and they will remember you and your presentation.

This article had some good advice about why you should not dump loads of data to people because they will not know what to do with all the info. It is beter to be clear and short in communicating and be open for discussion with others.

As a business owner, you should not overload your employees or customers with too much data. This can also happen when giving a presentation. Delivering too much information at one time tends to overwhelm people and the point you were trying to deliver gets lost in the confusion. Simplify things by getting rid of the non-essential information. This will get the important points across and your audience will be more acceptable to ideas.
