Having a code of ethics is essential to a company. Most people thing just doing a little something that is dishonest can't hurt, but it can actually be catastrophic later. If the code is clear and the rules are strict with consequences then people will be more ethical at work.

Interesting video, I think everyone has a little dishonesty in them. This lady I work with she is the biggest fraud. I had to relieve her for lunch and the time limit is 30 minutes. I check my watch and it is an hour and thirty minutes later and she still was not back yet. I became concerned so I decided to call my direct supervisor but low and behold she comes through the door. She never clocked out for break and at the end of the shift she fixes her time to show she was only gone for 30 minutes.

This video was very interesting i found it very nice by how it was all animation it was very creative. Being dishonest can mean so many different things to people and do we really know the truth about it. We all have lied and probably still do without even knowing it. We take certain things for granted that we do not see the real meaning behind them. Everyone has borrowed something small like a pen or scantron for instance and used it and never returned or gave the person a scantron back.

Everyone sees dishonest actions differently. We may see stealing as wrong, but ok if you give what you stole to someone who needs it. Regardless, the person stole from someone else and no matter what religion we come from, we all rationale right and wrong the same way.

Being dishonest is not the right thing to do. But when times are hard, temptation can take over the most honest person. Whatever it takes to get ahead is how some people see it. And cheating, stealing, or lying is what people seem to do when the benefit outweighs the risk. Hard work pays off. Honesty is the best policy.

I absolutely love the animation in this video. not to mention that I've fallen into some of those characters myself. Being ethical 100% of the time regardless of how big or small is a hard thing to do. I've caught myself doing unethical things from work to school to home and once I realize it I do change my behavior. Great video!

I think dishonesty is increasing in society. We live in a world that wants exactly what they want when they want it, and people have put the morals aside and are willing to do anything but the right thing to get what they want.
