Yes different or difficult challenges can help you in life. One of my friends was born with a purple stain birthmark on her face. I can remember all the kids teasing her. She never let anyone or anything bring her down. Currently she is doing out reach ministry to those facing similar situations as her.

This video is short at to the point, you use your experiences to life your life and make it better. In the example of the kayaker he knows all of the tricks and lines to follow because of his experiences and has learned from them. I think this is true in all of our lives and we should apply this to the workplace and learn from past experiences. This could help companies become more successful and stronger as a community.

Great tips on staying focused and not allowing the worst case scenario to overtake your thoughts. I have a serious problem with this at times. I get overwhelmed with thoughts of what all could possibly go wrong without even taking into consideration what all could go right if I make the necessary decisions and steps.

Everyone starts from somewhere. We need to gain experience in order to move forward with our careers and lives. We need to overcome challenges and be able to gain experience necessary. With experience, comes confidence.

The most important thing I took from this video is visualizing where you want to go. Instead of focusing on what could happen and then consequences. Make a plan and believe that you will come out on finish line where you want to. I do think that this does have less to do with experience, although it may play some part, and more to do with personality and mentality.

I agree with this video 100%. I've had so many experiences in my life that during the time I was going through them I didn't understand why. Now, looking back, I realize that those difficulties made me a stronger, better person overall. Now I welcome those experiences in my life because I know they will only make me a better person.

Experience gives one confidence. Taking up the challenge and learning from your past is important to the future. If you keep this sort of open mind set you will get farther than if you never took up the challenge in the first place.

This video reminds me of a previous video talking about experience versus judgment. I think experience can be useful when you apply it to other things on a large scale. Every situation is different so I don't think experience is always useful if you are looking for a simple answer. I think experience can help someone more with qualities or characteristics that are useful than specific advice on what to do or not do.

Experiences help you to deal with difficult situations in the future. Experiences also help you to develop as a person and a leader. I think positive and negative experiences are of equal importance.

I liked this video because it shows how real life situations can help guide your experience. If you never experienced anything, you have never really been challenged. Experience is the best guide book to life.
