It was interesting hearing from Steve Jobs friends in this video. The value of being attentive to details and following through on statements is what I will take away from this video. Jobs didn’t simply say he wanted a superior company culture, he personally took steps to make sure it happened. He also challenged those around him to do better work. As Ellison stated, Jobs would stay up late making small changes to perfect Toy Story. He did this to all of his projects and this is what separated projects he was associate with from others.

I think i would hate working with Steve Jobs. He is and for ever will be a brand name. He didn't make anything himself. He hired other people who could and he organized them. This is an accomplishment but not what he gets praised for. The comment about him being "a little bit of a control freak" put me in stitches.

The fact that Jobs was a very unique person made the video interesting. the one thing I will take away from the video is how much of a perfectionist he was. Also perfection could be attained you just have to work toward it profusely and have patience. In my work and personal life I will try to reach perfection. Jobs was probably the most exemplifying person of work ethics and perfection.

Steve Jobs was kind, empathetic, and people felt a feeling of fairness and compassion with him. He was able to test the boundaries and learn how to be successful. He thought about what it meant for people to have a successful company, and transferred this to his business. He was involved in every detail of the products that he produced. On top of being very smart, he also was very hands on. This is a vital part about being a good businessperson. You should be interested in your work, as well as persistent. Steve Jobs worked obsessively until he was able to come up with a solution, and this made him very successful.

Another video about how and why Steve Jobs was such a brilliant man, visionary, and entrepreneur. He is a leader in the business world. We look up to him. He was so determined. He never gave up no matter what life threw his way.

There was so much information to take in here. I did not realize the Steve Jobs was not a coder. I have always assumed that was his thing. I learned much from this video, not about "Steve Jobs", but the evolution of Steve Jobs and how he grew and matured. Things that I take away from this are taking "a good idea to a great product", "it didn't mater who's idea it is, as long as it is the best idea.", a beautiful combination of OCD and genius.

opening statements describe how much Steve jobs learned from his mistakes in his later days. he states how much Steve was looking to build a strong culture. he was someone that could work obsessively. that is the best way to attack a problem. in my professional life, i will be sure to pour my life into the development of my company. the fact is that people are a huge asset when it comes to getting people on the same page with you then that is the only way to really get the ball moving.

I really enjoyed this video. I thought that it was interesting to hear two very successful people talk about someone who they felt so close to and developed such a strong relationship with. It's always interesting to hear another persons point of view about you. Steve Jobs was such an inspirational man and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

I think many people overlook the fact that though Apple's success is so many times attributed to Steve Jobs, many of those Apple employees are the ones most often behind the creativity and innovation. For instance after his death many people felt that what would be of Apple now how will they continue to be creative, I thought to myself could people be so naive to think that all apples innovation came from one person? I realized the answer to my own question was yes, Steve created a environment or creative thinking and openness to all ideas, however he was not the sole holder to the invisible jar of innovation that majority of people think he alone possessed.

You always hear people putting Jobs on a pedestal, a visionary, and while I'm sure he was an amazing man, I don't think he was all he was cracked up to be. In a previous link a video talked about how Apple wasn't really that innovative because the technology for the I phone and the pad was previously invented and manufactured by another company in China and Apple just bought it. We, as consumers, were none the wiser because we thought Apple/Jobs created it and thought Apple/Jobs were just that amazing, but really it was someone else all along.

Steve Jobs was a very inspirational person. He was not only extremely innovative but he was a hard worker. His colleges said that he was "1% inspiration 99% perspiration". That statement challenges me. I also liked how they said he knew when someone else was better than him at something and he would listen to them. As a leader that is a very important thing to do. He understood that success took and vision and a vision took hard work. Steve did not wake up one day and become successful. It took many hours of hard work. That is inspirational.

It is pretty cool to see these successful people talk about their success and how they did what they did. Steve Jobs clearly had a huge impact in our world. He understood to make a work environment for employees that they could thrive and understand what their customers are looking for. By working hard you and doing something until it is right, it can turn into the best product or service for customers. He had an idea and was able to make it into a reality which is pretty amazing!

I would like to say that I respect Steve Jobs and the innovations that he made. It was really cool to see him remembered by people who have been equally as successful in their careers. I think that the way he has been portrayed since his death is only going to hinder advancement at Apple in the future. Jobs has been placed on a pedestal as the leader of apple and the one person who drives the innovation within the company. I think that people are going to be hesitant to try to break the barriers that Jobs had not yet reached. A lot of people are worried that the innovation died with the man, and I feel that this may hinder further innovations from Apple Inc.

I'm literally obsessed with Steve Jobs. He is an innovator and just a leader of what companies should start modeling there manager employee structure. If we learn how to network and move ideas as fast and creative as he did we could create almost anything.
