The fear of the unknown is very scary for most people because its all about re-positioning yourself. It creates stress and causes a new way of thinking to market yourself and your company. But trust and innovation is the key to keeping a company on top.

I have been through company transitions and I hated it. The head of the company decided it was time to make over the business. I am all about change but I was not prepared for the storm that was brewing. With this change came new staff, people who were under qualified, or favor for a favor. Bringing in the new unqualified people did not sit well with 89% of the staff.

This video was very intriguing, it showed how transitioning is very important in businesses. Transitioning is something that needs to be smooth and welcoming. The example they gave was about the immune system. You bring a new person into a company if they do not like him they will drive them out like the immune system drives out bacteria. At 23 i know i have been through many transitions in my life, just in college living on my own and making my own choices. Some people transition well and others might have a hard time this is why transitioning in a company needs to be thought out carefully.

We may want to transition into a new career or accept a promotion. But that doesn't always mean we will be happy where we go, even though we may make more money. If the job pays well, its because you are going to work for it and the higher up you go in a company the more responsibilities you take on and most the time they change entirely.

I liked this video. Transitioning between careers or positions within a business has been difficult for me and I am sure is difficult for others as well. As a leader, I gain fulfillment through mastering my craft or essentially being good at what I am doing. I like his ability to understand and relate with how transitions affect this desire. As a manager I tend to forget this fact when dealing with employees. Businesses need to keep this in mind and continue to work on making their business welcoming to employees making similar transitions.

People get comfortable with something becomes a habit to them. Change can be intimidating and sometimes difficult. This video was interesting in expressing the transition process. Whether it be on an individual or a company, it is important that the transition be smooth so that it is easier to adapt to the change.

I like this video. I find myself fearing the unknown often and getting all stressed out. Especially with graduation and starting a new full time job. You always wonder if your're making the right decision. I personally like adventure so the unknown is scary yet fun!

Transitioning to a new position can be rough time. It can test your limits. Sometimes a strength is less needed and a weakness has to be developed into a strength for the new position.
