Transitions are tough. For everyone. I been through where there are new owners, or bosses, leaders, whatever. The biggest deal is that it is established who is the new leader. People will fight this, and it needs to be established.

I believe that transitions can be difficult. However, observing the situation and challenges correctly makes it easier. In relations to the video I think the interviewee did a good job of explaining the personal and business challenges.I'm currently reading a book that relates to this topic and some of the same point that are made in the video are made in the book as well. I'll be sure to take both the and the video message. Also the message of the video made good point about the company's position in making transitions easier on the employee.

Lately there have been a lot of job transitions. Some people are getting new jobs, while others are having to take on different roles in their current job. It is important to make sure that the transition is a good one. If you hire the wrong person, they may be run out. Also, in order to be successful in a promotion role, people must be able to ensure they know what they are doing in their new role. They have to be able to focus and know what it takes to be successful.

Job and career transitions are always hard. Some are more hard than others. If you have to move cities on top of a new job that is a harder transition than if you are simply being promoted within the same company. I moved cities when I got a better job offer and it was very hard and stressful. Luckily I do not have any children and I am not married or it would have been even harder. It took some time for me to get use to living in the city. It was especially hard because not only was I getting a new job I was having to live in a new place. I gave myself ample time to adjust though.

Fascinating video. Although very bland, it was informative and I am more than likely going to order this book. The reinvention of yourself is something that I am doing right now. By returning to school, it's not a midlife crisis. It is a necessity to reinvent yourself... I NEEDED to earn my degree(s) so that I can pursue the opportunities I truly want. I also picked up on the things you need to let go of and what you need to embrace.

Transitions are something that everyone has to deal with throughout their lives not just dealing with a job. Transitions brings up insecurities, uneasiness and and feeling of not knowing what to expect. Knowing how to deal with transitions professionally is important in the business world because it is rare that the job you start at is the position you will retire in. Promotions are a big part of being successful but in order to succeed in a new position you have to deal with the changes successfully. This video present possible issues with transitions and how to deal with them and I think it was really helpful.

its huge to be able to adapt to a company. when it comes to landing a new job, getting a promotion, and being relocated, all of these situations have a heightened level of requirement for re engineering your branding and redeveloping your branding. it is huge to pick a specific brand for yourself that will best support the move and always be on the offense.

In everyday job or even in every day life everyone goes through some type of transition. Whether it be a promotion, relocating, starting a family, there will always be transitions that we have to deal with. It's important to know how to handle those transitions and many times that is hard to deal with, mainly because we have not experienced them yet. I think that talking to other people and trying to learn from the experience of others can help in transitions that you may be facing in the future.

This video discusses an occurrence that many of us will go through in our careers. The transition from a peer to a boss or supervisor can be something that you are thrilled about, however everyone around you may not share that take. The peer that were also in hopes of the position may be upset or bitter, they also may be unwilling to allow the transition to happen smoothly however this is something that is a part of life especially if you desire to be successful.

I believe this was good and usable information. We will all go through transitions in our careers and the more information we can obtain on this subject can only make the transition easier for us and for the companies in which we work. What you knew in one role may not prove to be successful for you in your next role, and you have to be able to recognize this and adapt accordingly.

I think this video was very informative and correct. taking a promotion can be exciting but more comes with the promotion then just a raise. The one aspect that stuck out most to me was the fact that you loose friends. This is very true. I have personally experienced this and it is painful as he describes.

I personally am someone who does not really care for change. Once I get into the groove of something, I like to stay there. Transition can be very hard for some people. You should always look and the positives and negatives of a transition if you are planning on doing so. Change can be good but it can take people time to get used to it. By moving employees from one department to another can cause some stress amongst these employees, it is something that they are not used to.

I agree with this article because communication, trust, and, understanding among employees in the work place is crucial with the development of the business. When employees communicate with one another, there will be less confusion and orders will be clear among the employees and more importantly with customers. When they trust each other, business will run more smoothly and the stress level over all will be at a minimum. If you have a new business and you go from having four people working for you to thirty, it is important to get to know your employees/coworkers, communicate, trust, and understand them because it will be beneficial not only for you, but for your business.

Transitions are a major part of life. Whether it is transitioning from college to the workforce, or learning to become a responsible adult everyone goes through changes in their lives. Many people resent change, but it is a necessary part of life. With regards to promotions, some people may find it hard to fill a new position that they are not familiar with. This video provided good instruction on how to deal with a new job and adjust to some of the major changes that go along with a new position.

Transitions can be both good and bad; someone or something is going to have an issue with the new change. I am not a fan of change; I kind of like routines, but no change means no promotions or added respect. In a job, there are some who are content with where they are, and there is nothing wrong with that, but I know I am going to want to move up the ladder. With this added aspect, I know I will have to adjust to change and get used to it; I believe change is something that must occur carefully and with constant supervision, until the process is complete and everyone has fallen into place.
