Listening to Tony Robbins in this video really made me stop and think. He is so right relating emotions to people's decisions and actions. How we feel definitely affects what we do. I have always been interested in learning about human reasoning and what drives us.

I really enjoyed this video. I will probably share it with some friends. He is very inspirational in the way he speaks. And what he has to say makes a lot of since. My friend had cancer for the last two years. She is like a sister to me and when someone who your close to goes through a life threating event you kind of go through it with them. So I have learned to live my life through her. And I can only hope that when she gets better she will live her life to the fullest too.

Tony Robbins video at ted is really great. He explains a way that people do what they do because of emotions its not about you not having the money of the resources. If someone puts there mind to it you can do anything. He relates the decisions that people make a big difference in not only in their life but every ones (rosa park). Tony says that humans need 6 needs and these are all important and people need these. The last two being most important are Growth and contribute to others. these things shape people and cause them to make decisions sometimes bad but you have to know the good. I really like this video and I will definitely relate it to my life, some of these things could improve my life.

Tony Robbins is a great motivational speaker. He makes people step back and think about how emotions relfect the decisions that are made. If no one has emotion for anything then the wrong decision will always be made

I somewhat enjoyed the video. The biggest thing I took from it is that it’s really our emotions that influence our actions and decisions. Those actions and decisions, even if they seem small at the time, can have a great impact on our lives. It’s something I can definitely relate to and something that everyone will relate to at some point in their lives.

This is a very enlightening and applicable idea concerning emotion and our growth. Emotion is one of, if not the most powerful, emotions that drives us as humans. Whether it be in our personal lives or in our business lives, we are all driven by some sort of emotion. Some of us are driven by the emotion to succeed and be wealthy, while some of us are driven by the emotion of giving, caring, having a family, etc. Each person is looking for fulfillment in his or her life, and so often, that fulfillment can only be found when giving back to someone or something that cared for you or helped you grow. Regardless of what we may think, we find fulfillment in watching others be happy or smile because of our influence. On the work place, we are emotionally motivated to either do well or slack on our jobs, but either way, we are driven with an emotion of some kind. We need to always ensure that we never let our emotions be underestimated, because in the grand scheme of things, our emotions could be the reason that we are very successful or fail in many ways.

Why we do what we do? If as though this questions has many answers. As the video showed it does. I think the biggest answer is our emotions for things and if we need it. I put my emotions in with my passions. Because if you have passion your heart is in it and you love it.

This video made me ask myself questions about my decision making and how much I need to understand the difference between making a difference in others lives and achieving things for myself. His talk about need, motivation, significance, connection through love and needs of the spirit. Growth being a connection to making a difference and how exciting it is to contribute to others lives. He also talked about having a vision/target and maps to our goals

Why do we do what we do... I hope that each and every person who watched this really listened. I hope they will put into practice serving others. It is profound that there was the two people on opposite sides of 9/11 at his conference and I am anxious to see what they have done to follow up. I am also curious to see how others will "serve" others. This was a very lengthy video but well worth the watch. It's over before you know it and you find yourself watching it again, because you might have missed something.

I liked how this video made me think outside the box. Most of us have said "I can't do .." But the truth is we can do anything we set our mind to. Not saying that whatever it is will be easy but if it is important there is a way. It's easy to make excuses like " I don't have the time, money, knowledge, or recourses" but that's the easy way out.

This is a long but interesting video because it shatters the common idea of limitations. He's also addressing our needs as people, things we strive for and why we strive for it. He touches on a lot of things like love, growth, satisfaction, selflessness; ultimately what gets us where we want to go. Ultimately we need to explore ourselves so that we know better how to hive to other and appreciate what motivates others to do what they do. Great video, but it's long and I probably wouldn't share it.

As a communications undergrad, I studied many different theories on emotional intelligence. It is important for people to understand not only their emotions, but also the emotions of others. The part of this video I enjoyed the most was when the speaker talked about people and how they react to situations. There are some people who will always be mad and others who will also be optimistic in any given situation. I am so happy I am the optimistic person and never let things get me down!

Emotions are the driving force behind anything. This was a great video and I agree with him 100%. Emotions will cause you to carry out an action faster than a gun at your head sometimes. Ever heard of the saying "love will make you do some crazy things?" that saying applies to all emotions. If you are angry, you are angry and your actions will reflect that without anyone having to ask you to show your true emotion. I love emotions because being able to control them is really a true strength. Good emotions or bad emotions, regardless of which type, the ultimately motivate you the most.

this was a great video! i loved hearing this guy speak. my favorite part was the idea that when you fail to accomplish a goal and you give an excuse because you had a lack of resources is really because you had a lack of resourcefulness. there is always a way to make something happen. where there's a will there's a way. i firmly believe in this idea and i personally have a few aspects of my life that i really need to apply this idea to. in the past i was just making excuses but im here to make things happen!
