Why we do what we Do Tony Robbins starts this video off by explaining that he is not here to motiivate, but he is here to get down to the "Why" we do what we do. This is an interesting concept because there are a lot of driving factors that motivate us or cause us to do or carry out different actions. He talks about emotions being a driving force on why we do what we do. With emotions, you must be careful because they can often drive you to do the wrong things. As humans, we should not only be driven by emotions.

Robbins' speech was very interesting. He seems to be on a different level of emotional understanding. I was enlightened by him talking about how to get to fulfillment and how different people deal with different emotional roller coasters.

I've seen videos of Tony Robbins before and really enjoyed them. He is really thought provoking and wants to get to specific reason why a person does what they do. He says a person's emotion is incredibly important and is the reason for a lot of things people do. Emotion is the voice of life. He also says that we can rationalize anything. Any decision or action we make, good or bad, can be justified as to why we did that specific thing.

I probably would not share this video with friends or colleagues. I am not a big fan of Tony Robbins. With that being said the ideas and concepts he spoke of are real life issues. I definitely feel I have gone through so much emotionally and spiritually in my life. I think everyone should have dreams and desires. Everyone works in different ways and have different goals and are driven in very different ways. I feel my journey is an on-going process that where I come from is the essence of my motivation and determination.

I agree with Tony Robbins. He states several reasons of why we are the way we are. He gave a pretty great presentation. I found it interesting when he started talking about 9/11. The story he told about the woman having two men that she was engaged to was the most intriguing part of his speech to me.

Such a great video. Why we do what we do is something I think very often. He made some great points about emotion and getting things done. If you have emotional drive things become more achievable. If you are doing something and you think you want it, but you cant seem to win or obtain it... then you know you are not working hard enough. There is always more to give. Even when you think there isn't.

TITLE- Tony Robbins: Why we do what we do
Tony Robbins is awesome. His message is really enlightening. I like his emphasis on growth. People are constantly searching for growth in whatever direction it may be. Growth is what I have found most fulfilling. As a manager and member of society I always try to grow in my skills set and perception. I may fail at aspects of my life but I will always move past it and grow from it.

From an economics point of view, not everyone is created equal in what drives them. Most people look towards money as a universal driver. However, money is not the only driver, nor is it ever the strongest. Tony Robbins challenges people to better themselves by finding their greatest drivers...for him it was the ability to give. I like this frame of thinking because it allows us to focus on what makes us happy. The happier someone is at doing something, the more likely they will be willing to do a better job of it.

I really like Tony Robbins and the message that he portrays in this video. Growth is so important in our lives and in the economy today. Growth really pretty much is life. We physically grow, mentally grow up, and also grow in our positions as a business person. Growing our business is also a huge part of our life. In order to achieve something, you must want it. You must want not only the money or rewards that will come from it, but you must want to better yourself. If you want that, it will all come together.

Tony Robbins is a very gifted public/motivational speaker. He has some great points throughout this great video. The point about emotion an how that can cultivate a state of motivation that we have not experienced up until that point. The reference to Lance Armstrong and how he did not win a single Tour de France before he was diagnosed was a profound comparison.

I really enjoyed this video. I've never seen a whole video of Tony Robbins, but I've heard of him. I thought that the video was very intriguing. I think that the most important part of the video was when we he was talking about 9/11; about how everyone around the world was feeling all of these sorts of emotions, some angry, some sad, some guilty, but we as people were all able to come together as one and try to help each other and try to bring a peace to the world, even though there are terrorists after us far too often.

Emotion is important and is the reason for many of the things people do. Any decision that we make can be justified as to why we made that decision. Emotions drive you to become an achiever. If someone is happy with what they are doing, they are able to do a better job.

This was a great video. I like how he challenges us to find what drives us and continue to grow since it is necessary for us to be happy. Determining why people do what they do is also a important to managers. In order to build a good team you must know how to encourage and control them. Some people will always be negative and others positive but by determining why they do this can allow you to positively impact the situation.
