I think it is a great idea to always be thinking of a new or better way to do something, that is how success is born. If you can think of something that your competitors do not offer that will give you a competitive advantage. Consumer wants and needs are constantly changing and so should the innovation of products and services that companies offer to their customers. Don't be afraid to rethink your innovation.

This video challenges me to think outside of the box. She says to reevaluate "what you THINK people want". Once you step outside of the box and try something new, you may be surprised. I thought the example she used about the doctors office is a really great example.

I agree with what the speaker is saying. It is important for businesses to rethink their services in order to satisfy your customers. In order to improve and innovate your business or service, you should challenge your assumptions and see what you can do to improve. Also, finding the right people will help to improve your business as well.

I think it is extremely important to reinvent your services in order to be more successful. When a company is in a plateau or decline because of their service operations, they should take the time to update or upgrade their service plans and make improvements for the sake of the company's success. If you can keep up to date with great services, your customers will be very happy which in turn will lead the company to be successful.

I agree with what the speaker is saying but it is very hard for most people to readjust there ideas or visions for improvements. It is an innovative way of thinking though. If something is not going right and then maybe we need to stop blaming markets or other outside influences and "re-invent" ourselves.

I work in the sales industry and there have been many times that i have rethought about the interaction i have had with customers and in the back of my mind i think about the interactions we had and how i could have sold more or offered more. But this is a learning process and one thing about service is thinking about the quality of service that is being offered.

I liked this video it shows how a company needs to think about change and not just do the same routine in and out for your service. Change is a good thing and it is important to have ideas in a company for change. She gave an example about how doctors now had group appointments and 98% of the patients liked it because they learned off of each others experience. This is something that i believe can be helpful in the workforce.

I think the 4 things that the lady speaks of is a great way to think for innovation of companys services. Sometimes the way that you have always been doing it could be altered or changed so that not only can your organization could save time and money but your customers will be happier. I think there are alot of corporations especially ones that have been around for a long time need to take this innovative approach. I know at my place of work there are has been new technology that has come out inorder for my job to be easier.

Again, this video speaks of change and the challenges that companies face in competing for business. Companies need to exceed in all areas such as customer service, product differentiation, etc. in order to attract customers. Technological change is often times the biggest and most expensive change companies face. In order to exceed, companies need to be able to quickly adapt to changes.

The video raises a valid point that services tend to be less innovative than products. I think this is because there tends to be fewer technological advances that can be utilized in the service industry. It seems that training employees to do services a new way might be costly as well. I like the idea of group appointments and video appointments for healthcare. This seems like an interesting way to appeal to a niche market.

This video's four steps are very helpful. I think it is normal for services to change. Consumer demand is constantly changing and we must change to keep up with it.
