Challenging assumptions is very important when redesigning or innovating a business. Like the previous video we watched, taking in customers opinions and preferences can help a business become more successful. Innovations are necessary in a number of ways, evolving styles and times, change in customer base, or increase in competition. A business owner can never assume they are doing the right thing without taking account for external factors.

I feel like it is human nature for us to want to fall into a comfort zone and stay there. If a business does falls into a comfortable zone and never challenges themselves they will miss out on many opportunities. Innovation is the key here and we should never stop challenging ourselves or embracing changes.

This was an awesome video. I agree that companies should be innovative. To challenge your own assumptions is a good first step because half of the time companies don't really know what customer wants, needs, or enjoy pertaining to their product or service. This video uncovered a way companies can stop being so selfish because after all companies are there to serve their customers. Great video.

I think this video would be great for a company that is already established but may need an facelift. Changing the way certain companies do business may benefit them drastically.

I found this video to be extremely helpful for any company. The business is always changing and evolving and companies need to keep up with the changes. One way to do so is to challenge your assumptions. Companies should expand their horizon and innovate the services they offer. The business world is constantly changing but society and the economy is constantly changing. I think many companies do not even think about innovating the services they offer because they are scared to challenge themselves. Many companies share the idea "Why fix what is not broken," but what they do not know is that they can make it better.

In business, you should never assume anything. The market is always changing and always growing. Business models are ephemeral. What always worked may not always work. Innovating and challenging your assumptions is one way to make sure that your company stays up to date and is providing the market with the goods and services that they actually want. Businesses must stay in tune with the market and do the necessary research to find out what consumers need and want. Going along with the industry or assuming that you know what consumers want is a recipe for mediocrity and sometimes failure. Innovation and research are the key to consumer satisfaction and company success.

I agree that you should not be afraid to rethink your services. Now, I believe if it's not broke, don't fix it, but if your services can be improved then why not? Looking for ways to make services better will only benefit the business by leaving customers happier which will in tern leave workers happier.

Of course it makes sense to rethink services just like every other division. The whole "if its not broken, don't fix it" saying it ridiculous! Just because its not broken, doesn't mean it doesn't still need maintenance. Its the same in business and that includes services. A business should never stop trying to improve on their processes to better serve their customers.

This video was interesting. Changing your business in just a small way will make a big difference to you on the profit in. You will gain more customers and have a bigger return on investment. If a business is not continuously working to better themselves, the business never grows.

Challenging your self is a important key to understanding your business. After you challenge yourself you can understand where your operations are weak and how to improve your business. Once you see where you can improve your business you can change. Changing a business is difficult ut is a must if you want to survive and adapt to the changing market.

Innovation is very important in aspect of business. As said in the video business focus more on product innovation rather than service innovation. Well overtime people needs change along with how service fit those service particular needs. So it is very important for business to be aware of the customer needs and frame the services accordingly. In my particular job we must find better ways to serve customers on a daily basis, which sets our company apart from other in the finance industry.

I thought this video was interesting I think that for a business that may be needing to increase its customers or increase profits could benefit from changing their services. Even for a business that is doing well, it's important to rethink what you are doing and what you could improve on. There is always something that could be changed or updated, businesses need to keep up with the changes to stay above their competition.

At the beginning of the video i wasn't sure where it was going to go. But like the video i challenged my own assumptions. Customer service is an old time remedy for customer disgruntles. So they should be treated with a degree of respect. One thing she goes on too talk about is how not all customers want to be treated the same. This goes back to the spaghetti argument. There inst one type of perfect spaghetti sauce, there are many.

In order to rethink your services, first you should challenge your own assumptions. Then, you should make sure that your services are what your customers need. Also, it is a good idea to partner with another company that can help the customers as well as your business. You should then make sure you are assigning the correct jobs to the right people. If you do all this, you can successfully have a better business plan as well as better services for your customers.

I really like the example about the group doctor appointments. It goes to show you that you can never how a suggestion will be perceived. Im sure initially that it was not something that many doctors believed would be successful however it was. I think it is important to sometimes think out of the box because you truly never know what is a going to be successful and what is going to fail.
