I really wish she picked a better hair stylist. There was some good points though about out with the old and in with the new. I believe a lot of companies are afraid of experimenting with new customs because they just like to stick to what they know. However, sometimes what you know maybe costing you money. Yes, you may loose money experimenting yet, that's where the research and game plan comes in on which type of changes and improvements should be made.

good point this video does a good job of demonstrating the importance of being flexible to appeal to you market. we always need to understand that our customers will always have different needs and at times those needs will change and develop in to different things. the most important thing we can do in the business world is be ready to adapt to new environments and try new approaches.

I feel like this point is along the same lines as the videos we watched about innovating and expanding your business. Even though it is kind of a scary proposition, it is important that a business rethink some of its operations if said operations aren't living up to standards or aren't fulfilling customer needs.

Breaking away from the routine is always a challenge. As she mentions, companies have the mentality of "this is the way we have always done it" or "this is the way our customers expect it". This mentality is the reason the service industry is slower to change than product industry. Services do not have as many technological advances as other manufacturing industries. Services need to be open to change just as any other industry. As times change, so do people's expectations. One cannot assume that customers want the same thing over a long period. The video gives great instruction on how to break through these mindsets while keeping the true gratification of the service.

This is very true. Some companies are skeptical with major changes. Challenging your assumptions can lead to an eye opening conclusion. Don't be afraid to go with your gut and make the change. If it increases customer service and production, it will increase the overall output of the services.

The recommendation of a business challenging their assumptions is a very good suggestion, there are always opportunities for improvement in business. It is also good to rethink what you are offering your customers, even though your product or service may be selling well, there may be an area that needs improvement. So it is important to always consider making changes to keep your customers happy and your business growing.

Other than the fact that this video tells you to violate HIPAA laws, I really enjoyed it. It basically is telling its viewer/listeners to try and rethink their current operations and try to become innovative. This is a great idea and can drastically improve your customer satisfaction. I would recommend this video, and will keep the main points in mind once I begin my career.

Challenging patterns can sometimes be difficult for people who don't necessarily like change. Some people believe that if it's not broke, then why fix it? In the fast paced, growing business world of today, change is necessary. Challenging what the current situation of a company is with how it could be better should happen all of the time. The only way a company can stay on top of it's game in our ever changing world is by pushing the envelope and changing the status quo.

Innovating service offerings and structure is a powerful way to innovate a business. Finding what the customer needs is how you make money so of course innovating the product/service is vital for growth. I'm currently defining my business' service offerings to satisfy customer needs. During this process, one step I am taking is to survey a small group of people who can tell me what would satisfy their needs.

This video challenges companies to improve their service methods. Learning new ways to innovate this department can change the way your company interacts with it's customers and streamline productivity. Nothing can matter more than how you service your costumers. If there is a way to listen to people and make this better, then it is imperative that you do so.

This coincides with the video we watched about the lady who made lotions. She at first provided a product, which was overpriced homemade lotion. When customers came in, they were hoping to find a spa or someone who did facials. Once she found out what the customers she wanted, she turned her store into a spa service with facials and treatments, but still allowing her to sell her lotions. It's important to listen to what the customers want because they are responsible for your profit. She mentioned that the service industry is last to modify their services when I feel they should be first. I feel it would be much easier to modify a service than a product. Maybe I misheard...

Customer is the reason of a business’ existence, maximizing customers’ satisfaction and meeting customers’ needs become the top priority of any business. The more customers we have, the more challenging it becomes to please them. Simply do what they want is not sufficient enough. We need to be more creative, help them to find out what they truly want or need will satisfy them the most.

Don't be Afraid to Rethink Your Services
Rethinking services can lead to better productivity in the workplace. For example, companies consistently add and remove items from inventory. Some are removed and some are replaced with better items. The ones that are replaced have come from years of remodeling the item to create a better fit for the current customer market.

Challenging my assumptions in general is a very difficult thing, I can't believe how much trouble it can take to change the way of doing things in business. Especially businesses that have been around for years. The nature of competition encourages innovation but at the same time it discourages "big shifts," changing service delivery can be accomplished with a goal of enticing customers easily. But changing the idea behind the service while still accomplishing the same goal of delivery can change a business for the good or worse, I like the idea behind this video . But sometimes clients are too picky and just want what everyone else has instead of something new.

Growth, expansion, and adaptation are all important topics for a company to be successful. In order to continue to be successful a company needs to be able to meet the needs of customers while also making good business decisions. Adapting to what customers want will help increase customer desire and longevity of that customer. Making important business decisions such as group doctor appointments can help save expenses while also improving overall customer satisfaction.
