Don't Be Afraid to Rethink Your Services
After watching the video, I agree with what the speaker is saying. In order to improve and innovate your business and/or service, you should challenge your assumptions and see what you can improve or modify. Another way this could be done is by asking an outside party to look at your strategy and what mission is in place. A second pair of eyes can sometimes be the key to finding a mistake or blemish.

This also meshes with the video we watched about om lotions. Listen to what your customers are saying and challenge your business. See how it can be better and can be changed into something totally new and unheard of. By doing this you may be able to find a totally new niche market that needs your new services!

Change is the key we have to know how to readjust our services. Companies have to talk to the consumers to find out what they want from that product or service. For instance, there has to be a form of change so that all companies focus on what's most cost effective for the company and also what consumers want from the company.

Don't Be Afraid to Rethink Your Services
The fact that the service industry is generally devoid of innovation is quite true, and I had never thought of this before. Challenge your own assumptions, match your customer's needs, and use the right people, are three ways that the speaker mentions to evaluate your service-focused business. I think these are great basic points that can be easily followed and implemented - hopefully leading your business in the right direction to grow. Regardless of whether you offer a product or perform a service, business owners should always be looking to improve the way they operate, for efficiency and customer experience.

I believe that in order for a business to be successful, they can't be afraid of change. One of the key factors to success is change. A business must change as their customers do and cater to what they want and need. Businesses should always be thinking creatively to come up with the next new idea and innovation. They have to stay current with the trends in order to have longevity.

I would definitely share this video with friends and colleagues. Thank you Dr. Wyld! The video was right on point when it comes to dissecting a business especially if it is in the service industry. making sure that the customer is getting his/her needs met in an efficient manner. Making sure that there is something in the experience that can be combined or done more simple. Making sure that you are a profitable business is important in staying in business but it is more important to make sure that the whole experience with the consumer is smooth and consistent. When I helped my friend run his seafood restaurant we definitely implemented things that were simple in order to more efficient to meet the needs of the consumer.

TITLE- Don't Be Afraid to Rethink Your Services
I really liked this video. I often have felt that the services of my workplace are out dated and unpractical. Ultimately it resulted in less productivity on my part and even at times counter productive activities. I will definitely attempt to model this video in accessing my current businesses procedures.

I think it is very important to not be afraid to take the next step in services. This video provided some sound steps to innovate services. I think it is very important to innovate because you have to continue to meet customers' needs. Innovation is key to any service. Without innovation services may become obsolete.

Challenging your assumptions may be difficult for some people but overall I think it is great. Looking at new ways to improve your business is what keeps it going. Times are changing people want quick service and quality products. I think that the group doctors appointment is pretty cool. I do like the fact that you can learn from others experiences. What a great way to save time and money from a business standpoint.

I found this video to be true. It also falls along the same lines as the video we watched about the woman who opened her own lotion shop and changed her business according to what her customers liked. Changing your business in just a small way will make a big difference to you on the profit in. You will gain more customers and have a bigger return on investment.

I find this video's four steps to be quite helpful. Challenging assumptions allows for greater improvement in services. Consumer preferences are always changing and there is no reason to maintain standards based on ancient assumptions. Doing so will also differentiate yourself from your competitors.

Challenging assumptions provide an effective way to assess where you stand versus competition. It is good to ask questions because questions can lead to meaningful data, especially in the service industry where customer demands are ever changing. The video promotes a healthy mindset, while encouraging managers to break a common and negative status quo which deals with productivity and pressures. When pressures are exerted throughout the corporate chain, managers tend to choke by adopting the "quickest" possible solution. The quickest or already established solutions might not be the best! In fact, they run greater risks of being antiquated. To conclude, it is important to innovate by continuously setting new standards. These standards are found by asking yourself what is lacking!
