I am not really a 50 cent fan. It is interesting to me to see the business side of him and his passion for excellence. He says it's important to be apart of the development process. From the way he talks it seems he is involved and knows whats going on. He not only uses his head set to make sure they are a good quality but he is also using this business model to help others. Personally when I think of 50 cent I do not think of someone who would have a heart to help the people of Africa. He seems to not only have a passion to sell a great product but to help others in the process.

Mr. Jackson came from what he thought was the bottom, but while visiting Africa he saw people in worse conditions than what he experienced when he thought it couldn't be any worse. I applaud him for taking action to do something to help others when he had the chance instead of looking the other way. Like Mr. Jackson said 1% of business could prevent poverty. If all businesses practiced this we would see something unimaginable, a world without poverty.

I found this video to be very interesting. It is nice to see someone like 50 cent grow up like he did and make the success he has made. He took his time becoming successful and once he was there he made sure to give back to people.

I think this video is a funny video, most of the rappers or drug dealers, who people fear and say are stupid, are on the contrary smart. They start off as thugs, but to get where they are now, you cant be just like every other business out there, are other thugs or other people. Thru choices of life you made your own way from handling drug money to switch to record money but still keeping the mind set that got you where you are. The hunger or thirst for more and to not just have it but change more not just for yourself but for others, is what got them there alone with morals. There really is no thinking like a Harvard business person there is a opportunity and chances and depending on which ones you take and your will, will control your thought process in every way.

I like 50 cent more from a business perspective than a music artist. I feel that if he wasn’t already such a well know rapper, the headphone company would probably not be a hit. I like how he pays homage to his roots that he came from, and I think it is very important for a successful company to always remember where their success came from and give back to the people who helped them get to where they are today. Hopefully Curtis’ hard work and dedication put into this company will lead the company to success.

This is true success does take time to build but once there you should never forget those who help you in the process. The key to continue to being successful is pouring into people and by becoming a part of something that is bigger then yourself.

The fact that Curtis Jackson bought part of the company instead of just investing in it shows that he actually put thought into his decisions, instead of slapping his name on the product just for sponsorship.I am also intrigued by his ability to come from such a rough background then transform himself into a huge success while maintaining a respectful image. I hate seeing music artists and movie stars taking on a negative image once reaching success, so this is a great example of how it should be done.

He's got boat loads of money from that vitamin water sale. But it's good to see that 50 is going into philanthropist mode. Because in his music he still talks about killing and selling drugs. It's almost like he lives two lives. But then again if he had to be positive in his rapping would that even sell?

It's good to see that the highly overpaid entertainers giving back to the community. I have such a hatred to the entertainment industry (sports, actors, musicians, etc) who get outrageously overpaid when we have the truly hard working average every day man who works 50 plus hours a week to barely feed his family. It just gets to me! So glad to see that some of them can pay back to their communities.

I like this video because it shows that you cannot judge a book by it's cover. Jackson is a very hardworking man in all of his endeavors. I applaud the fact that he is giving back to the community in a way that many probably did not think he would. I think it's cool that he's obviously not doing it strictly for the attention and the public praise because many of us did not know he was so giving. I think success can be measured in many ways, not just from financial standing. I like that he is not the stereotypical businessman that many think of.
