INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Another 'Me Too' Player
Nowadays, it is essential to be unique and original in order to find real success. In today's economy, we witness how companies go out of business and people are demanding more innovative products and services at the same time. Competition is fierce, and businesses need to devise plans to cope with it. This article mentions an important quality that would help any firm survive: creativity. People do not want more of the same, so companies have to find ways to satisfy the needs of a market that is every day more demanding. We see how many businesses are embracing this idea, and thus, they are radically changing their way of doing business.

INSTANT MBA: Stop Being a Perfectionist And Pay Attention To Customers
I think this happens more frequently than we like to admit. We lose ourselves in perfecting the concept, that we've lost touch with the consumer. And we all know that consumers are needed for success. We have to make sure we keep them involved in the process of development so that the end result is a needed product. Having customers involved gives a company real use of consumer approval, and allows one to correct any defects before they become disastrous. With a customer seal of approval, a product is more likely to become a success.

In order to set your business apart from others you have to be creative. Creativity is a very important aspect of business. Like the article states, you need creativity for product innovation, but you should also start applying it to all aspects of your business. Creating a product that no other company has, servicing your customers in ways no other company does, and even advertising in a way no other company advertises would definitely give your company a tremendous competitive advantage. Originality is very important in the business world. I believe creativity is something all businesses need in order to stay in business.

I totally agree with this article. Everyone one from music artist and television stars to businesses are trying to be like the next person. The street language for this type of behavior is something the young people call "Bitting." You often hear someone say "he is bitting my style" which means that he is not the originator of a particular thing. When you look around and everything you see reflects something that someone else has done, you get bored. You need to be creative. Design something that no one else has designed. Run your business in such a way that no one else has ever done. Being orignal in the business world is extremely important. It is was customers crave and to ensure that your business is not in competetion with those around you, you need to be different.

Instant MBA: Don’t be another ‘ME TOO’ player I am a big fan of the quote “Be a leader and not a follower,” and this article says exactly that. Just because others are doing it, doesn’t me you have to. Originality will get you far, and recognized. As I stated in previous discussions, don’t be afraid to take risks. Fear should not be an option, because even if it doesn’t turn out the way you want it to, learn from it and keep it moving. Set your own path and be one of the first to actually do what it is you want to do, and not what you saw someone else do. Risks are made to be taken and not ran from. It’s an experience and it will be scary, but who cares, take it. You do not want to label yourself as a ‘bandwagon’ person. Become a ‘Go-getter’, someone who does what it is he/she originally set out to do. This article is a great read for ANYONE!!

INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Another 'Me Too' Player
In the business world or any other work place, if you want to stand out in the crowd you need to be innovative. We rarely remember a company or person that brings us the same product or solution that everyone else has been bringing. If you want to have an advantage and become highly marketable you need to think outside the box. You need to anticipate customer wants and needs and find a new and better way to meet those needs.

It is much easier to say “me to”, than to create your own ideas. Creating and voicing your own ideas will make you stand out from your other employees. You also must develop tough skin, because your ideas will not always be accepted or understood, even if they are great ones.

I agree with the article and firmly believe that originality will set a business apart and lead to success. If you are doing everything exactly the same as your competition, how will customers notice you. What will make a customer choose you over others? Every business should find a way to set themselves apart and secure a niche market. At Raising Canes, the high quality of our fast food sets us apart from other fast food restaurants. You can get a cooked to order meal just by driving through or stopping in. Although doing things differently may have a higher potential for failure, it often leads to greater success. Even though it is much more expensive to serve high quality, cooked to order food over frozen, reheated food, Raising Canes has proved profitable in their endeavor.

I think it's very important to be able to set yourself apart from the competition. You're not gonna do that if you just go with the flow and and mimic what other companies are doing. You need to be your own self and take some risks; these risks don't always pay off but when they do it is very rewarding. Being original is whats gonna take your company to the next level and will allow you to be successful in the future.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Another 'Me Too' Player
There are some points in a company where you want to "get on the bandwagon" and do what you think would bring in a target audience. You can keep on the same kind of track, just add a little more zest to your companies ideas. Jumping on the bandwagon and doing what everyone else is doing is just a way to fight the competition. But if you think of something completely off of what they are doing, and it sells good, it will separate you from the rest.

I think that it’s easy and safe to look at a successful company and copy what they’re doing. While it is sometimes a smart move, your company may not stand out in anyway because 10 other companies had the same idea as you. Although it may be a bit risky, but going against the grain sometimes could help your company stand out. It may backfire, but you won’t know unless you try it.

I think this is very important to any company. Originality wins demand in todays fast paced, ever changing market. Having a different approach to even a small thing can mean all the difference. I like the approach taken by the clothing company in the article that chooses to use real models as opposed to photoshopped pictures for advertising. A few weeks ago, I ate at a Mexican resturaunt that had a giant menu that was about 5 feet tall and rolled around for everyone to see at once. I was caught off guard by its unconventionality but intrigued and enjoyed the family style dining atmosphere that it promoted. Because of this trait, I remember the food and experience much better and am willing to talk about it to my friends.

I think that creativity is one of the best qualities that an employee can bring to a company. I know from personal experience that you have to get creative at work to make projects come together. I do electrical work and at times my crew and I have had to get creative to finish a job. We had planned to do it one way but it did not work out the way we thought so we had to work together to get the job finished. We were able to come together and each bring our own ideas to complete out job. This is something that I feel helps in every type of job field and should be applied especially in a business.

Being original as this article talks about, can set you apart from all others. If you are just another player in the game doing what everyone else does, you can be easily replaced; however, if you bring something uniquely you to the table, you will be hard to replace if the company is ever required to downsize. Unique employees are a lot harder to replace when companies start reorganizing and downsizing, should that ever be necessary.
