This video goes hand in hand with being a strategic listener. In this case the shop owner of OM aroma was using strategic listening to hear what the customers wanted from the shop. The customers informed the owner that they were interested in receiving facial services. In implementing what the customers wanted the owner actually saved the shop which might have closed due to lack of customers.

What i took from this video is to never give up on your business, listen to what your clients have to say and learn from them. She knew she needed to start doing facials and now she is very successful. This is a very nice video to watch if you are opening up a business. You learn to listen to customers and to adapt to their wants and needs. From personal experience of working at a coffee shop i know to listen to customers and if they have good suggestions to talk to higher management.

really liked this video, thought it was awesome how she was set on selling her line of hand creams and at first she wasnt making money because there were too few walk ins. the real progress happened when she decided to listen to what the customers wanted and started providing facials. it goes to show that you should always be flexible with your business strategy, always be ready to adapt.

I believe this idea can go hand and hand with a previous video about listening. Because this entrepreneur listened to what her customers were demanding/asking for she was able to turn her business into the success that it is. I have to give her credit for not being bull-headed and resistant to change, like so many people are. There is an extent to what I would be willing to do and not do in my company, but if it is something that my customers continually ask for, and it isn’t illegal or immoral, I would definitely consider it.

I really liked that she took the time to listen to her customers, and that's exactly how she became successful. They wanted facials, so she gave them facials. She might not have picked the ideal location, but she turned the business around by taking the time to listen to what people wanted in that area. I also like the fact that she became a business owner by accident. Sometimes the best things in life come to us when we least expect them. We always need to stay sharp and creative in order to leave doors open. I would love to visit her store and get a facial!

Listening to what customers want is what keeps businesses moving forward. If you do not have a good ear for listening to what customers are asking for, your business will fail. Game plans may be thrown for a complete loop. Your original idea may not be in the ball park of what you need to do to be successful.

To build a successful company, it is very important that the company and managers be able to adapt to market demands and trends. This video showed that basically any business needs to go through some form of change to become the best it can.

Owning your own business comes with many challenges and requires all your effort a hundred percent of the time. What I learned from this video is that in order to keep your business alive you must be able and willing to adapt. It’s important to tackle your problems head on and to listen to your customers. While things might get tough, you must persevere through the hard times because it is possible to turn it all around.

It is funny how businesses sometimes take on a mind of their own and go in directions that the owners never would have dreamed of. One of the keys to owning a successful business is being elastic in your business plan. Listen to your customers and provide what they want. This may change from year to year, but by serving the needs of the consumer the business will continue to grow. Many stores evolve and expand over the years. It is a part of the life cycle of a business. When you start to decline you need to revamp and bring in new customers.

Business basics are supply and demand. In order to know what to supply you have to know what is being demanded. She did a great job in the video of listening to what people want and working her business around that. Great business comes from know what people want and giving it to them. My plan is to open a daycare. I know there is a demand in the increasing growing market. The great thing about this business is it can be really flexible and give the clients what they want.

I wish they could have found a less annoying business owner for this video, but I agree with the message here. I've worked with far too many bosses who do not listen to what their customers want. A successful business must always be ready to adapt to a changing environment or stagnant business plan.

I think this video was a good example of how important it is to listen to what your customer wants. Even though you may be hesitant to make any changes to your company change is what makes companies grow. If she hadn't listened to what her customers wanted and made those changes to her business then she would have lost a lot of potential customers.

Keep working. listen to your clients. These are both important things people don't think about before they start a business. The main part in successful business is to have a product or service that people want. If you don't have that you wont be in business for long.

When you have a business change is a big aspect to surviving. In today's market, the culture and things want changes very rapidly. In order for a business to stay relevant and up to date it must change daily, weekly, monthly to keep up with the demands of consumers and their trends. I believe the success of a business is how it can adapt and continue to change.

One think i take away from this video is something that Kim stated, she thought her business would be a sure success because of celebrities and a wealthy neighborhood. I couldn't disagree more with this ideal concept. Location, location, location, yes we all hear it, however location doesn't guarantee a successful business. As she soon realized you have to give the area what they are looking for. Location isn't the golden rule it is the service or product that you are offering that matters. I think many businesses fail because they are looking for the "AREA" to give them success i believe this is due to lack of research before ever just setting up shop you should always do research on area and see which area has a need for what you are offering you can find and move to where there is a need relatively easily however it is much harder to choose a location and try to create a want.
