I believe that it is important to have both judgment and experience. Without experience we cant develop our judgment. Experience allows us to take from it and learn for future situations. Judgment allows us to assess a situation and make great business decisions.

Personally I use both, I learn from my mistakes never wanting to make the same one twice. I also listen and observe everyone around me in my office to learn how everything and everyone works and operates. Judgement is especially important in training, I learn so much while training for a new job by listening and observing before diving in headfirst.

Both judgement and experience are important. You have to be able to judge and make great decisions. Learning better judgement can one from gaining experience. Butif you are not experienced in the field you can always research and find the best things to judge and make decisions on.

Listening is a key to successful business. People must also learn from their mistakes. It is even better when people can learn from the mistakes of others. Judgement and experience are both important for better reasoning.

I agree with this video. I believe good judgement would prevent having to learn from experience. I also think judgement would relate to the evaluation and assessment of a situation. Yes not everyone has good judgement this is where they have to learn from experience. People who learn from experience are like the man in the video stated they are learning from mistakes. You don't always get a second chance. That's why I agree judgement is more important.

He states in the video, that research suggest, we don't learn from our mistakes I do not believe this to be true. Throughout my life I have made many mistakes, just like everyone else has, and I constitute it as a mistake if the decision I made did not get me the outcome I intended. Whether my mistake cost me a lot of money, a relationship with a friend, or a job, from my mistakes I have learned what not to do in the future. I am always willing to tell others with an open ear my story of mistakes and outcomes in hopes that they don't make the same ones I did. Also I am very willing to listen to others and get advice from them from their past mistakes and experiences so that I can shield myself from failure.

Judgement versus Experience. In my opinion both can go hand in hand. If you have experience you are likely to have good judgement. But if I had to choose between the two, judgement does seem to be better. I like how he described good judgement as someone who asks a lot of questions and then asks more questions, then they make a decision. So goos judgement takes knowledge and time and a little intuition?

I believe that he is right about one thing but wrong about the other. Yes it is good to have judgement on a item and research a item very thoroughly and do it again, until you feel safe and sure in the matter. But for a person who has thoroughly been there or even made the mistake of going there and here the kicker actually learned from the matter of what was need to be done then that person is way more suited. its like me telling a child to ride a bike safely. i go over all the details but in the end he falls, my planning and judgement was good but i had no experience to really show him what he need.

Judgment and experience I feel go hand and hand. You have to have experience from your past about the judgments you have made. Judgment leads to experience. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them, but we should look at our past mistakes and learn to have better judgment next time. By doing this, you will have more positive experiences in your life and at your work.

I agree with the video that judgment is more important than experience, but I think an even mixture of the two would be better than just one or the other. It is easier to make a great judgment when you or someone with you has past experience with whatever it is you are deciding on. Also, with great experience each reoccurring judgment that you face you can have a better result than the last with that valuable knowledge and be more successful.

Judgement and Experience goes together. I believe to make a sound decision you have to examine the situation and then you also have to have experience in a particular matter before a solid sound decision can be made. So I believe Judgement and Experience works together hand in hand to solve a matter.

I believe both judgment and experience are important, since they both lead to better reasoning. Most people make bad judgments, make mistakes, learn from mistakes and now have experience with that judgment. It's always helpful to keep your experiences in the back of your mind so you don't make the same mistake twice. It's also helpful to use your best judgment when facing new situations so you can make the best decision possible.

I agree completely with this video. I think experience can be helpful to an extent, but every situation is different. Comparing situations to past situations can sometimes lead to success, but more often than not there is a new factor that is not being listened to. People look at experiences differently, too. Judgment, in my opinion, is much more important than experience.
