Hard work ethic seems to be something that fewer and fewer possess nowadays. Its the ability to stick to a task till it is done. I find that most things don't get done out of laziness. Work ethic and only get you so far too. You also need to be able to step back from the process and see if there's a better way of doing things. You can beat at a brick wall all day with your fist in order to break it down, but it would have been done before lunch had you used a jackhammer. In the end your tough but stupid.

This video supports what I've been told before. However, the eight words all require you to do something difficult and different which is why I guess only a few people become extremely successful. We all want to be successful but in the end of the day it takes the eight words done routinely to make it happen. I guess the first thing to do is find a career that you enjoy but also has a market to support you. I certainly feel I can use what the video says going forward knowing it came from countless interviews with successful individuals. However, it's certainly one of those things that's easier said than done.

loved this video too! found it to be very insightful and i even copied down all 8 aspects of success. overall this video does a really good job of showing how one would find their success. these people are some of the brightest in the world so i would think it is vital to listen to what they had to say. i pulled plenty from this video and plan to apply it today! you can apply these concepts to anything that you choose! i love the idea of success!

I firmly agree with the ideas the presenter said. Being successful isn't something that is magical or unattainable to the average person, it takes hard work and dedication just like most other things.

Passion, to me, is the number one key to success. The other seven are very important too, but I feel like if you have a passion for something nothing can stop you. If you have a passion to do something, you will go the distance. You will do everything to make your dream come true. And with passion comes the rest like hard work and persistence. Someone once told me that you want to get a career that you love. They told me not to pick a career for the money. Because money will not give you a happy life. You cannot have a happy life if you wake up every morning, and hate the place that you are going to work. I know this advice to be true, and I have held on to these words for a long time. It is some of the best advice I have ever received, and I will pass this along to my children and grandchildren. Waking up in the morning and doing what you love is the key to a happy life and a successful life.

Everyone has their own opinion of success and it comes in many different shapes and forms. Passion was the word that stood out the most for me. You have to love what you do. I take great pride getting up early every morning to help out my patrons. I can honestly say I brighten up someone’s day.

I agree that the things on this list will lead to success. As someone who has faced many hardships, including the death of my parents and my children's father, I feel that the most important key to success is persistence. Constantly pursing your goals, no matter what life sends your way, is the only way you can accomplish those goals. Sometimes in life, you have to change your plans and seek different goals. This will happen to some extent to everyone; however, if you remain resilient enough to keep moving forward, success will follow. It is up to you to discover what motivates you to stay persistent and focused. Once you find it, don't ever lose sight of the bigger picture and keep on working.

All of these things are essential to making success. If you love what you do you'll never have to work a day. Which is very true. I don't think people should do a job that they don't love doing. For me, my parents have pushed me a lot to be successful in my life. Success isn't just handed to you, you need to work for it!

It seems that asking a bunch of people who started from the bottom now they are there (Top)is the best way to get real answer. These people have all gone thru trails of there own and are probably still going thru some, but they have the answers. I am sure it is different for everyone, but now you can grasp the concept.

I think success is something that everyone strives for at some point in life but it takes motivation and effort. Having passion about what you do is what makes you successful. If you're doing something that you don't like you won't care what the outcome is and your efforts won't be 100%. I liked how he said that if you want to be successful you have to give others something that is worth while and has value. You can't be successful with just helping yourself. You have to help other people and I think helping other people also bring happiness to business men and women resulting in motivation to continue being and becoming more successful.
