The video couldn't be more correct. I, just like everyone else, am a chronic procrastinator and I am especially bad at putting things off it I think about them too much and build them up in my head. The idea of doing your worst task first is something that i have been trying to implicate in my life as well. Very interesting video.

This is a very good idea in terms of methods to improve personal productivity. I know that it can help but in reality it is extremely unlikely to pull off everyday. I am curious as to whether or not this could be applied to a manager's workforce. For example, have your stockers change their order of work so the most difficult jobs are done first and day becomes easier.

This is great advice. I always try to do this. Especially when it comes to school work. But, although I try to do this I sometimes fall into procrastination mode. So to stay away from this I try to reward myself by telling myself that after I get whatever I don't want to do done, I can have a thirty minute break or something. It even helps me to know that just getting whatever it is I need to get done over with, I am free to do whatever else I want or would rather do. This video has great advice, although I am pretty sure this is old news to us, at this point in our college careers.

Starting the day by doing the worst task first is the best method. For me I like to start the work day off with a bang. Of course I may be sluggish but this changeling task that I am handling will wake me up. Today I was extremely busy handling all types of stress related task but, when 3:00pm came I felt more energize than I had been before.

I really enjoyed this video. As it is probably obvious by the lack of posts I have made to this forum, I have developed the unattractive habit of procrastination. This was not always a shortcoming of mine; however, it has become an increasingly bigger problem the past couple of years. I have always put the one thing I was least excited to do on the proverbial back burner. Soon, there were more unpleasant things to put there for another day and the space got full quickly. This lead to a lag in my performance overall, even in things I actually enjoy doing because I am constantly trying to prioritize and catch up. I intend to use the advice from this video to change my behavior. If I get those big things I have been dodging done first thing in the morning then I am sure the rest of my obligations will flow much more smoothly. I especially like the idea of deciding what that worst thing is the night before so no more time is wasted in the morning thinking about what I need to do and I won't have the opportunity to procrastinate if I simply get to work.

i agree with this video, but the only problem i have is, this is going to cause stress or frustration at the job.Knowing u have to wake up and first thing in the morning you have the biggest part of your day. It is the best solution tho for most jobs, because like she said you know your day cant be worst.Or we just hope.

I like the idea of doing your worst task first thing in the morning. It relieves a lot of stress and feels good once you complete something that you were dreading doing. I definitely procrastinate as much as I can so I really plan on applying this to my lifestyle because I think I could really benefit from it. Completing a task that you don't want to do, while it may be treacherous doing it, feels really good and gives motivation to continue to complete deadlines and tasks.

You should complete your worst task first because it is going to be the most time consuming. At the beginning of the day you are fresh and not so worn down. if you complete the most grueling part then the rest of the days task will feel like running down hill.

This video is really good advice. It's so easy to procrastinate these days with all of the distractions in our lives. There are a lot of benefits to completing our worst task first. Procrastinating can have a major snowball effect. Time management is a very difficult thing to master, but it is extremely beneficial.
