This video seems to be a good argument to link a previous link of the day which stated the best decisions are the ones you don't make. These two guys seemed to have everyone against them when they decided to purchase UFC, but weren't afraid of failure. They took the risk and came out ahead. Another important part of the video was when the two mean were explaining what drives them to work for UFC, passion! The idea of working for a company that you have no passion toward, which seems to happen to the majority of people, astonishes me. I agree with the two men, passion is the most important aspect when choosing a career.

Ok... this clip has effectively opened me up to the MMA. I myself have never watched the sport and even equated it to WWF or whatever that was. It is interesting to hear some of the background on this. They bought a failing business and made it go "BOOM". I wonder how was it being run and managed previously? I also like knowing that the fighters mostly have a background in wrestling, as in true wrestling as well as college degrees. It just goes to show NERDS DO RULE THE WORLD!

I liked this video a lot. Not only did I learn something new about the UFC but this video gave me a living example of how being passionate about something pays off handsomely. That definitely seems to be the underlying characteristic of most business owners. In order to be successful you must be driven by passion. I also believe you must love what you do. This one was encouraging.

I did not know that about UFC fighters. I unfortunately am one of those who thought the majority of the guys were "meatheads". But I'm happy to be wrong in this case. They mention how fighting has helped some of these guys stay out of trouble, which is ironic, but I suppose at the same time it's a job. And you don't want to let a lot of people down. I've actually watched some UFC fights and find them pretty entertaining, unlike pretty much any other sport. So I would already put them at the top for me. It's true. UFC doesn't case about ethnicity, race, origin, anything like that. I've seen so many different athletes on stage coming from polar opposite parts of the world. The two men had a good partnership, it's obvious. They play off each other very well, and that's definitely something to remember when looking for a partner.

UFC fighting is something I just recently heard of a few years ago. Like most fighting sports I'm skeptical of it. However, from a business stand point it's pretty interesting the were able to grow their company to the size it is now today. I also would like to be a great CEO one day whom play a critical role in a company's growth. It also good that the have such a great partnership. This video somewhat opened me up to partnerships and working with people and sharing power.

This video was interesting because it shows that if someone believes in what they are doing, they can create a very successful franchise. The men who bought the UFC started with almost nothing, and then were able to build what may become the biggest sport in the world. They were able to do this because they were determined and didn't listen to people who put them down. I can relate this to my life because I plan on opening my own business after I graduate. I know there will be struggles and hard times, but knowing that someone else was able to push through and be successful will help motivate my success.

The UFC is still growing faster than ever. Being involved in a growing individual sport myself, I have some similar experience and knowledge about what it takes to really make it in a sport like that. UFC is still young and will continue to grow as well as wakeboarding. I look forward to seeing where it is in 30 ears and how much money the athletes will really be making. I believe it is going to go in some what of the same direction as boxing. I also think Las Vegas will have the most to do with this sports success.

I really didn't understand the history behind UFC fighting but this clip sparked some knowledge. Who knew the business side of it was so huge and had a great story to it. When you look at the art, you really only see the fighting and bloody side to it. Those two men left a legacy in the art by being passionate about it and really putting they're all into it which is great. It's funny how what meets the eye.

Its great how these partners make up for each other's shortcomings. They work well together and through mutual passion for the sport, turned it into something great. They saw the business potential through the love of the sport and made an empire. They obviously have a business relationship that can be admired and respected.

Work should be enjoyable and I believe this is what these gentlemen have found. They have found what most people have searched for their entire life. Their job is a way of communicating without truly having to work a day in their life.

Well I've never really been into UFC myself, but I can sense that these guys have a great working relationship and they are excellent business partners. UFC was nothing 10 years ago, but the sport is now routinely covered by ESPN and other major sports networks. And the popularity of UFC is continuing to grow. While I'm not really interested in the sport at all, this video makes me interested to see what heights these two men can bring their business to.

Both of these men seem very passionate about their company. They each have their own unique strengths that play off one another, which makes them a great team. It was also interesting to learn that many of the fighters are college educated. Although their passion in life didn't call for a college degree, they still viewed education as an important part of life. I don't personally keep up with UFC, but learning a little about the business aspect behind the company was interesting to me.

What I learned from the video was that in order to succeed and to have your business succeed you need to be passionate about what you are doing, just like these guys and MMA. They took a failing business and turned it around. I think what contributed to their accomplishments was their successful partnership. They knew each other’s strengths and weakness, but together they worked. One guy was the face of the company, while the other handled all the behind the scenes work. They knew what they wanted for this company and made it happen. They had international goals which they accomplished because they knew fighting is universal everywhere giving them the largest market.

Taking the whole fighting side of things aside, the business of running the UFC is a wonderful example of how a lot of business grit, innovation and hard-work can result in success. The two guys are partners that feed off of each other, they both have various qualities that they bring to the plate. Trust, risk and strategy between the two has resulted in a big global franchise.

This video was very interesting to me. I personally have never been one to enjoy the UFC fights. After watching this video and seeing the "business" aspect behind it, I can say that I have more respect for the program. It is a good point that he made that no matter where you are from, fighting is in your DNA. I have always agreed that something that is constant across the world, has the potential to be huge. And clearly, in this video, we are seeing exactly that. We see that two friends who knew enough about business, had a great idea. Sure, it was risky, but don't we know that in order to make large investments you must be busy? It is great to see successful risk takers like the President and CEO of the UFC.
