I wasn't aware of UFC's history and am moderately impressed. It is another example of a business that was under appreciated in the beginning that blew up like Virgin Airlines. Things happening that way is unlikely but not impossible so it does give hope to people who have big dreams.

This video drives home the fact that a person shouldn't always listen to their peers and instead, go with their gut and where their passion leads them. The peers of these men didn't agree with them buying this franchise to try and make popular because they were losing money left and right. But instead of just giving up, the two men believed in what they were doing and were committed to their work and ended up making UFC/MMA a brand that generates millions.

I would pass this video on to certain friends and colleagues. It is amazing how you take UFC fighting and how it has transpired into such a followed sporting event. The creators of this phenomenon have been successful with passion, hard work, and a disciplined work ethic . I have always been taught by my parents that with hard work and determination there isn't anything I can't accomplish. This is so true by how I decided at the age of 34 to go back to college and finish my business degree. Best decision ever.

This video goes to show people that just because your peers don't agree with your choices doesn't mean you are wrong. Far to often people don't try something because it was not popular or was ridiculed because it was not a majority decision. But those investments usually turn out to be he ten bagger that people are looking for. I would share this with others just show them to not always listen to what the majority says.

I didn't know anything about the UFC until this post. It was very interesting to me. I learned from the video that the UFC fighters come from high school and college wrestling teams. I also learned from the video that the people who made the UFC what it is today did this by believing in the sport and the wrestlers. According to this video, "fighting is in our DNA."

This video was very interesting. I like that the two partners work so well together. It seems like they each make up for what the other is lacking. Also, I really liked the passion of the two owners. They bought the UFC when it was pretty much a joke but they didn’t care. They loved the sport and they wanted to see it become successful. Now, they’re expecting to become even bigger than soccer. In addition, I thought it was interesting that most of the fighters had such a good education. However, I did like that fact because there’s more to them than just fighting.

The UFC is a prime example of taking a passion and working their tails off to make it a success story. It is hard to believe that mixed martial arts was on the brink of bankruptcy ten years ago, now it is fastest growing sport in the world and competing with soccer! The story of how the UFC came to be is such a refreshing phenomenon to hear about and I will continue to root for it's immense success.

I've known about the UFC for a while, but I never actually put too much focus on the actual history behind the franchise. The video is interesting in multiple aspects. It shows that your dreams can sometimes seem like a joke or unattainable, but if you believe in it and fight for it, you can find success in areas that some people only dreamed about. It shows the importance of strategic partnerships within a business that make it run smoothly. Above the idea of it being a very successful franchise and partnership, it shows a passion in the owners who are truly interested in investing into the lives of their fighters. For some, without the UFC avenue, their only pathway would have been prison. I thought this video was very enlightening and very informative.

Believing in something and being passionate in it at the same time can lead to great success. The Owners of UFC were ridiculed and told it was nto a good investment that they were going to fail and lose all their money. Now they are billionairs, so it just goes to show you that if you do believe in something, and are passionate about it, go for it.

TITLE- UFC Executives Open Up About MMA Success
I have been a fan of MMA and the UFC for some time now and always find it interesting to hear more about the history as well as current strategies. I like how the UFC has been able to change people’s perceptions of the sport and turn it into such a huge success. Like Dana described in the video, this sport is unique to many others in that it is popular in nearly every country in the world. Their ability to persevere even with the many critics, ultimately marketing and promoting the sport to a global scale operation is a very impressive feat. Surely shows the value in determination and trusting their judgment even when others may not have believed in it.

I just recently started watching MMA because of my friends and I never knew anything about the business aspect of it. These two guys are really great where one falls the other grabs the ropes. They each know they weakness and strengths in order to make a company what it is. These guys who fight I never thought of them as college graduates. I feel that these guys will definitely continue to make MMA a very successful company and will strive to make it bigger in the next 10 years. Good thing they didn't listen to there friends who said it wouldn't strive to be anything. Most importantly these guys got into this MMA because it was a passion for them. Previous in another video we watched the TED video about ways to be successful these guys definitely hit every mark.

I like the idea of partnerships. It would be interesting to find someone who is good at things i'm not and going into business with them. I usually am such a control freak it would be hard for me to turn over half of the power to someone else. I'm thinking it would take a lot for me to trust someone like that, but if I found that person it would be a great benefit to me. Two minds are almost always better than one. Being able to feed off of one another and play to each other's strengths would be a great benefit. I also like that they are both passionate about this. It makes a huge difference when people are passionate about their business.
