Students,
Good evening - real thanks to Sara Bardwell, as she let me know of what appeared to be a small problem with the links of the day that is, in fact, a bigger problem that will necessitate me to ask you to hold-off posting any comments on the links of the day until you get a follow-up announcement/email from me (I would hope to have this corrected by Monday or Tuesday, but I am traveling to see my son this weekend, and so will have limited web time/access).
The issue is that the site that originated the links for the Instant MBA series has discontinued the embedding feature I (and a lot of other websites) were using to syndicate their material. This happened earlier in the week, and if you tried to post, you likely saw something like the screen capture in the .pdf attached to the announcement/email. The syndication likely stopped sometime on Tuesday the 19th, and yet, some of you (ahmmmmm!) have been commenting on articles that weren't there (got enough to fix without hunting you down :-).
So, the long and shot of it is that what was to be a project I was planning to do over a few weeks during the semester break will now be done in a few days as I construct 100 new links of the day and new discussion forums. I will make an announcement when this is done and the links are ready for you to resume your posting. The good news is that I'm going to shift to videos (as I had planned), but I will be using YouTube videos (hey, that's a reliable site - sorry, not cat videos, more serious ones). You will still have access to your old posts and will be able to use the same process for printing out the posts at the end of the semester in one click.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation - and you have a good weekend (I'll be drinking much coffee when not at the Louisiana Tech game seeing my son doing his videography work).
