Pride comes before the fall. This may be a cliche but it’s the truth. If business owners aren’t open to putting aside their pride to fix a problem they will fail. INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
In this article, CEO Joel Bomgar explains that everyone has an opinion and advice to give but you ultimately you have to make the decision yourself. Not everyone knows the details of your life like you do, and therefore can’t tell you how you should think. You can listen to some of their advice however and use it to guide you in decision making processes. Some are more knowledgeable than others. I felt this way when making tough job decisions. I talked to a lot of people regarding a new job prospect (what do they know about the subject, what would they do?). But I ultimately made the decision for myself.
