INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
Just like I have stated before, we should always be willing to listen to others. Even though some advices are not really useful, it is always good to hear what other people have to say about our ideas. However, we have to be able to differentiate a good advice from something else. The key for success is to make our own decisions based on our best instincts, and some good advice can give us more confidence about our choices. Running a business is not an easy task, so we should be open to listen to people who have already succeeded in this journey.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody I always like to get advice from certain people before I make decisions. Not to necessarily do what they are advising me to do, but it's always nice to listen to what others think you should and shouldn't do and also why they think you should or shouldn't do it. This helps me to see if my decision is the best decision and if it isn't then it's time for me to go back to the drawing board. No one is obligated to take someone else's advice, but listening to what that person has to say can really help when it comes to making the right decision. And if you feel that the advice someone is giving you will benefit than take it. But never take someone's advice just because they gave it to you.

INSTANT MBA: Turn Your Community And Your Clients Into Stakeholders
I didn't quite understand the concept of projects, design and employment opportunities fit on the same website. I do think that companies need to incorporate the community to which these reside and serve as part of a supportive role no matter how big or small. Volunteering and/or corporate sponsorship are essential in maintaining a positive influence in a community. These items vary in costs but the rewards can be so well worth every dime spent. Today's society responds to community networking in ways that will improve the business. So no matter what size the involvement, get your name out in the community to keep your business a step in the right direction.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
In my opinion, this is one of the more important things to keep in mind when starting a business or even trying to move up in your current business. When people give you advice, you must think of who is telling it, where it's coming from, what they mean by it and what kind of experience they have to back it up. I think we all know people who think that they know anything and everything under the sun, and they never hesitate to give their point of view. Although it is always good to get others input, at the end of the day, it's really up to you and your intuition.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
While I do believe advice is important to shape your beliefs and make big decisions, I believe that advice can only come from certain people. Just because someone is older than you or has more experience than you, that doesn't mean they necessarily know more than you. Network and develop relationships with those you know you can truly learn something from. But do not take everyone's word as law. Many times you will know more about your business than anyone else, so don't second guess yourself because someone else believes they know better. Truly weigh up people's advice and opinions alongside your own and come up with the best possible solution. Listen to those who you trust and disregard those who just enjoy hearing themselves talk.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
Again, it is very important to be selective about where you actually take advice. It is important to listen carefully as others try to give advice and share experiences, but you need to always take a close look and see if the advice given pertains to your personal situation. You need to look at all the circumstances and make sure you are following advice that you can support with logic.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
I agree 100% with this article. It's okay to listen to advice from different points of view but only you should have the final say so. You don't have to ignore the advice completely; it might be beneficial to take small parts and incorporate it in a way that best serves you, but it should never get to a point where you're doing everything that other people are saying. They don't know exactly what you want or what's in the best interest for you.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
This is a very true article. People sometimes love to give advice whether you ask for it or not. Advice is sometimes fact, but more often than not it's someone's opinion. When it comes to business taking the wrong person's advice could be detrimental to your business. Make sure when taking the advice of others, this person has some experience in the department you are discussing.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
It is imperative that we always listen to what others have to say. This is not just for business owners but those of us in everyday life. I often explain to people that all advice is not good advice for what worked for someone else may never work for you. However, it is always a good idea to listen to what has and has not worked for others. Take the information that you will use and use it to beneift you and with the rest of the advice you and either throw it away or store it in your brain for a later time when it may be needed.

Instant MBA: Listen to everybody but don’t take advice from just anybody I think that listening to someone else’s perspective in certain situations is absolutely good, but I also think that is important to be able to make executive decisions. I agree with Bomgar when he says, “listen to everyone, but trust your intuition.” As a business owner, or just in general, being able to trust your own intuition is a big step, especially if you don’t know the outcome. My advice: don’t be afraid to take risks, although sometimes falling down may happen, just get back up. Now with that past experience, the odds aren’t totally against you. Sure some people’s advice will mean more than others, and quite naturally most advice given is taken into consideration; but ultimately it’s how the advice is put to use. This is a great read for someone who has problems with making strategic decisions.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
It's always a good idea to lend an ear to someone who is willing to give advice, although not all advice is good and not all of it is accurate. In the end it is always best to go with how you think it should be dealt with. I have trusted my gut more than a many of times to make a decision, and it has not let me down since. I would say that the best course of action would be to make a decision based on what you think is right.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
I feel like I struggle with trusting my own intuition and taking others peoples advice too swiftly. I know for me being young and not experienced I am scared to failing or don’t want to make the wrong choice that would jeopardize my future. “At the end of the day, experience is the best teacher”, this is a wonderful piece of advice and I will take it to heart!

Word of mouth is probably the best research you can come across. Getting advice from people who have done it before or just getting new ideas from other people can beat any internet web page or book telling you what to do. However, you must be able to choose what information you should choose in the end. It's like decorating your room, you wouldn't want somebody to decorate it the way they like it, but taking ideas from those people and putting your own twist to it will make it the way you want it. You want your business to run the way that you want to run it. Take in as much advice as possible but in the end trust your instincts.

INSTANT MBA: Listen To Everyone But Don't Take Advice From Just Anybody
We recently reviewed an article which talked about placing a high value on the prestige of the ones you mimic your actions from. It is always wise to listen to the advise given to you, but never act on it alone. Going with you intuition will most of the time steer you in the right direction. If you believe that a risky investment is worth it, go for it if your intuition tells you to. Sometimes even listening to a variety of information can help you to come up with a valid conclusion. Listening to everyone’s angle, including your competitors, can give be the spark to your final understanding’s flame.
